Yeah mate everything was checked... car still runs nice on hp good idle pulls hard very happy with it.

Well I dont know why a tuner would go out of there way to fry ecu's and pay the bill for them. What cant be argued with is that everytime an sct device touched my car it rooted computers. You dont have be sherlock to work it out, im sure there are going to be more $600 paper weights getting around.

The saga ends, car tuned on hp no dramas she runs awesome. Big thanks to Ali and the boys! Seems there was software issues with sct, original set of injectors were sent back but checked out fine. For future refrence if anyone has ecu dramas like mine get it tuned with hp.

Yeah its fine with the stock tune, ecu's crap out with a sct flash.

Its strange as several cars identical to mine have all left with no ecu dramas.

On a side note a new ecu is 2-3 days ex melbourne if anyone is curious....

No the 3rd is in now but there gonna check over everthing before flashing it. This is the 2nd fg mkii they have had with this issue.... there has to be more cars having this drama

The saga continues there gonna check everything before another flash just to be safe. Ford have replaced 2 dodgy icc's not sure if its connected....

No had to use new ones.... so far looking good with vcm.

Nah mate fg mii, pretty sure they checked everthing. Well I would if im paying for new ecus. In a side note apart from xcal4 whats the difference between vcm suite and sct.

Who the hell knows ill pay for the first computer due to bad luck but the second and third im not getting charged for them. There's some gremlin in my car and they cant put a finger on it, again doing my head in. Had no dramas with sct on a bf but there is somthing a miss on this fg.

3rd ecu in its going to get a tune with vcm, sct keep rooting computers. Noob question is vcm suite/hpt the same software?

Computers keep blowing up at the expense of the workshop.... any ideas guys. What could cause so many ecu failures? I had one bloke trace it back to the dodgy battery ford fits. Any help would be great

that's the exact issue, hopfully to be sorted tommorow. Is it common? Seems like I just have bad luck lol
