Jefferson ford Mentone, jefferson ford Moorabbin Both a pack of incompentant fools, I wouldn't dream of gettin a service done there, and never did, only went for warranty probs! I know that Expensive Daewoo wont be better quality, but I know they have better customer service! Maybe ford will lift their game when they realise that they are losing long time loyal ford owners, due to poor service!

If I could get a muted sounded ford v8 that could keep me and my business on the the road for more than two months at a time, then I would buy it! I'm not buying a Expensive Daewoo for better quality, but better customer service, to be honest, I wouldn't buy a australian built car again if, as I said in the last post a japanese carmaker made a 'ute' to rival ozzie utes for handling! So go on and have a dig, but for me this was a big decision, and one that I would not have had to make if ford had made half an effort, to keep me happy after their sale!

Hey all, been a while, I've been in Nth America over xmas! Good snow, god damn cold though! Anyway I'm gonna get to the point, while I have enjoyed all the Fords ute's that I have had (never owned anything else) I have come to a point where I can no longer put up with the absolutely sh!tous customer service that I have recieved from ford while dealing with them for warranty issues. The needle that broke the back was my diff that they took 2 weeks to 'rebuild', yes rebuild, not replace. Which as you can imagine cost me alot of loss money and time , as I am a tradesman and the ute is bassically my livelyhood! So my point is that while it probably will never twitch a muscle on fords forehead I am trading my XR in for an SS ute this week! And have vowed to not buy another ford untill they sort there sh!t out and give as much sh!t about customer service as they do for sales! Yes you may think that I sound like a whining little b**ch, and I couldn't agree with you more! I thought that I could never see my self in a Expensive Daewoo but I'm left with little option untill a japanese brand can make a ute that handles like a car rather than a truck! So thank you all for your help and info! Ash!

Rang ford about this today, and was told that there's no recall, but to contact my dealer and take it from there! Spoke to the dealer and they handballed it to a dunlop dealer! taking it in on friday, he said that more than likely that it is a warranty claim as they did have a bad batch on earlier models! He said that its a pro-rata case, meaning that I will have to pay for what I have used! Caused from fast takeoffs my ! There supposed to be a 'performance' tyre for farke sake!

Yes they will be adr compliant, and they will also be under manufaturer warranty! I think that it would be fantastic if ford did that, as Falchoon said many people have spent that on their 'T's imagine having it covered by a ford warranty aswell! Theres a article in the december wheels mag, sound alright, its a roots style charger, developed by PWR and US company Magnuson. Pretty neat package, PWR designed and built the water to air intercooler, that fits between the blower and intake manifold, they also designed a trick idler shaft, that directs drive rewards so that all the crank driven accesories remain untouched! I think that they sell very well, alot of Expensive Daewoo fans buying clubbies etc... will looking at this to keep up with the mighty F6! Ba$tards

Congratulations That colour looks great, didn't like it a first, but it's really grown on me! Well done!

Goodyear? or dunlop? Coz my rear tyre is split right around, but theres only about 20% tread left! Did they change all tyres? Are they the original tyres?
-
Yeah that's what I was thinking! It's not really tracing people just finding them with limited info!
-
Alright palm it over!
-
Yeah looking awesome! I'm sure Macka could swing us forum member a good deal though!
-
You wouldn't believe it ! Just found a crack right around the side wall of my rear right tyre, original 235/17 dunlops. Can't see any chance of getting replacement under recall/warranty

HOLY I heard the other day that about 90% (or something like that) of people that hit mooses die! After seeing that pic , that stat doesn't surprise me at all My mate hit a wallaby in my old xf ute on a tip to N.S.W south coast at about 120kph, in the middle of nowhere, ripped the bumper off pushed the radiator back into the fan, had to kill the bloody wallaby with a rock, and waited on the side of the road for 16hrs for me old man to bring a new radiator up! Driving at night through the bush sux!
