    ute register

hey fellas. so ive got a bf mark II ute. ive had it for 6 months and havnt done alot to it yet.\ its that light blue colour that wasnt very popular from factory. 6spd manual with factory humped tonneau cover cut out center muffler and welded straight 2.5" pipes in. npc super heavy duty clutch kit turbosmart compact dual port bov, but plumb back is blocked off for louder sneezes. cold air intake in stainless box also put a new turbo core in it cause the bearings were noisy when I got it and didnt want to have a catastrophy when im still paying the car off
  5. yeh that is how you bed brakes in properly. ride them like crazy. youll know when theyre bedded in as the pedal feel changes. sometimes "re bedding" does help with shudder if its not too bad. it can also help to eliminate squeel. if that doesnt work remove the pads and rough them up on concrete. then re bed them. however if the rotors are warped this wont do anything. it really depends on how bad the shudder is.

I am a mechanic... was just curious if it was a common thing. no symptoms....other than the code. driveability isnt effected at all. its a real pickle

  9. so what is the minimum I need to do to fit the system without blowing up the engine? if its too much in one hit I might send exhaust back and do the other things first?
  10. cheers mate. might hold off on fitting it till I get sh*t sorted aye
  11. ok so im a mechanic by trade, got my bf xr6t last week and just ordered a xforce 4 inch dump, high flow cat into a 3.5 inch single system. then a work mate tells me it may cause issues to the engine as a first mod to it. was just wondering if anyone here had any experience with doing this swap up and if it all good to do? any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
