Hey guys yeah I'll give it a shot for the video as for 0-100 still haven't done one yet as waiting on injectors because I'm shirt shifting at 4500 revs because my timing belt is cut to avoid detonation but will let you guys know by tonight on the video... Just a quick warning no matter what type of camera is used it does not express one how loud it is and two the true sound of the blower on any type of phone or camera... Will post a link or something once it's uploaded... As for beating f6 I'm not sure as the torque is given from 2500-5500 revs where as mine has to wine a bit until it goes hard but once a lsd and better diff ratio is put in then who knows what can happen as the na 6 is severely downgraded compared to a fg f6 from stock

I think I have less than a standard fg f6 ATM but once the injectors And I get a proper tune pretty sure will have same If not slightly More than f6 ATM it's 340 which will Jump to about 350-360 rwhp so it's pretty Close Only Difference is the acceleration :( and boganspeed okay ill Keep an eye out
  4. With clearance pretty sure it has to do with how think the spokes are doesn't matter how big the rim is bud... And as for the turbo lsd and drive and tail shaft yes because the turbos and v8 have the m86 we have m80 the fg cr6 na and g6 na, I saw a diff locker made from trutrac but was over 1.6k or serving look up on tough car parts .com that's where it had it..

Hey guys thanks for reply boganspeed pm me tell me what club or cruise are going I have been trying to find some but haven't found any worth going to mostly Late model camira cruises and I really can't be bothered with them when they are so narrow minded and biased especially about fords when I can put most of their 6.2l v8s behind my rear view mirror by 2nd gear lol.. And arronm are you talking about a proper tune or a trams tune? If so where could I do a teams tune if that would help with my car and I'm still waiting on Herrod to tell me when they activate turbo logic for the na because it's new they still haven't activated it so I can't use the 2 bar map sensor I bought which may also be a little issue with my take offs as it doesn't understand the car has been boosted
  6. Well ATM I'm making 400-450km lol but I guess it's because I love taking off from first and just keep running through the gears.. Once that boost hits it's unbelievable hahaha, and ok we'll I got an email from tuffcarparts they said they have 3.7 and 3.9 gears for only 550.. But ATM I've decided ill finish off the tune and get the injectors in see how that goes and go on from there because the supercharger put me back ALOT... So not so loose on throwing money ATM thanks again for help guys appreciate it:) btw what do u guys think of the sound of the supercharger I put up a video has anyone watched it yet
  7. Okay then how much would a high stall cot for my car? And I emailed the site tuffcarparts and they said they have 3.7 and 3.9s for my diff but haven't put them up on the website list at the cost of 550, how much would it cost approx to fit either a high stall or a new crown n pinion into a car like mine as in hours of work? I would love to do it myself but I am limited to the amount I can do myself and on top of that I don't have the tools unfortunately hahaha

It's an auto the ad 6 speed, I saw on the Internet there was a true trac after market crown n pinion upgrade from the tuffcarparts website, and if I want a high stall converter how does that work and how will it affect acceleration and also the life of the engine and transmission?? I also heard that with the amount of torque I have it's easy to warp the tail shaft or something?

Hey guys , Last time u heard of me I was trying to do a turbo conversion.. 2 Months ago I went ahead and put a vortech centrifugal side mount in it along with a water to air intercooler, The car got done but since my fg was a mkII (series 2) it didn't go smooth sailing ... The aircon lines were moved around and some Other bitty things too like the PCM had to moved to a certain angle and the intercooler had to be dropped a few mm's because the struts were making contact with it or some thing... Over all the blower n intercooler, new f6 fuel rail was put in, new intake And plenum And etc were also added in along with fuel pump, now I am waiting on injectors which are hopefully gonna be sent in next few days which took Me 3 months to find with help of CAPA because the stupid na has a plastic manifold and the injectors has a very peculiar nozzle at the tip which makes standard aftermarket injectors useless... For you guys asking power output she is putting out 340rwhp on 10 psi, just under 600nm of torque, This is a decreased tune due to the injectors not fitted in and therefore the timing belt was cut to 5000 rpm to avoid detonation until injectors come and get put in because it was leaning off at 5000+ rpm, The car goes well but it just isn't taking off the line and accelerating to the potential it should be at the least and I believe my problem Is not only a sh*t tune until injectors come in but rather My differential... It has the standard m80 which has a useless ratio Of 2.73:1... I can keep up and beat maloo and as but only by a small Margin which I am guessing because I'm limited from My diff... So my question to u guys is how can I change them to get 3.46 Or something greater while using the standard diff I have already to Make the car accelerate quicker so I can actually use and feel the power better If you guys can help me out it will be great ill out pics of car up now of the hood and what it looks Like if u want dyno sheet aswell give Me Some Time So I can block out the plates n etc Btw ppl I may be the guinea pig but according to CAPA and 3 ford Performance shops here in Perth I own the first fg xr6 mkII supercharged in Australia and wa:) so That makes me smile through all these issues haha Here's a vid a few pics of my baby ATM trim.9E551D03-A50C-4BAC-AB8F-67A13138255F.MOV
  10. Hey guys it's been a while since I last posted on here just to let ya guys know I bailed from The idea of doing the turbo was worried with compression ratio plus it da turbo and all... Got it supercharged instead!!! Hahahah put a vortech supercharger and water to air intercooler kit, Upgraded fuel rail from the typhoon, and a few other bits and pieces alog with fuel pump and etc, Runs at 10psi ATM has the time belt cut to 5000 rpm to avoid detonation until bigger injectors are found which should come In the next week hopefully because it's running lean at high revs not enough fuel being squirted into the stock plastic manifold, ATM doing 340 rwhp and peaks at just under 600nm of torque I will put a better post with pics and all later when I have time sometime today, I wanna ask about what u guys know about changing the diff ratio I have the standard diff which has ratio of 2.73:1... It barely accelerates to the potential it has but still flogging Holden's but by not as much as it can do... Can y guys help me out with what to do to change the gear ratios I want to get 3.26 or 3.46 just want much better acceleration I don't care about top end speed
  11. Hi guys does anyone know of any places that can provide service of selling any positive displacement blowers that will suit the fg xr6 n/a? I know about the vortech system that capa provides but I have heard alot of negative feedback that the respose is crap and that it isnt of any good.. so I was wondering if anyone knows of places in perth where they sell superchargers or kits if available for the fg n/a?

By the sounds of it your not even going to be able to drive it once changed.I am in perth and here in wa it doesnt matter if you have turbo or v8 you can still drive with no problems. only issue is that apparently p platers arent allowed to own a v8 that's all
  13. what about the ph4500 for the fg na? I already have twin 2.5'' catback so I want to complete it by getting the headers and maybe a high flow cat aswell? but they want a ridiculous amount for the part and fitting.. does anyone know of a place in perth where I could get cheap fitting if I bought the parts myself?

  15. hey thanks for the replies decided that im going to look at doing minor mods on the na and wait a few years until get enough and get a stock fg turbo and move on from there
