Hi guys I got a BA Turbo 4spd auto ute. I have a mate who has an 07 BF turbo ute he has just smashed and I can buy it for a pretty good price. Just wondering if swapping the motor and box over was a good option, is it possible and how much work was involved? I'd be getting it done at a shop not doing it myself.

Im about due for a new turbo as well. What is needed to change the standard turbo on a BA to a GTX3582r? I have found plenty for sale, most without housing. What size turbine housing would I need?

So I have had a bit of a read around and haven't been able to find much so was hoping you guys could help me. My BA xr6t ute auto is having issues with the breaks when going speeds <100km. Usually happens if I'm doing 110+ and as soon as you break a little, it feels like the breaks almost stick and I get a horrible shudder through my car. It doesn't usually stop until I slow down to 50-60. I have have disks, pads and wheel bearings all replaced. 160,xxx k's on the car. Also got my wheels balanced(made it drive a heap better but still have this issue.
