137.92 mph for the C&V performance tuned 6466 F6 Is the 6766 on par with a gtx4294r? A gtx42 highmount setup is on my wishlist, just need money
-
a very fast 11 sec nugget , I know how it feels to run a 11 flat
-
I think all you need to do is clear some codes, CMS or Ford can do it Asking Joe would be the best bet
-
was it a fg f6 or xr6t? what turbo? and is the engine still alive?
-
anyone got links to good gps tracking equipment?
-
what time is the crew getting to WSID on sunday? hopefully I can find a ride to the creek
-
small chance, but there can always be defects in the manufacturing process or material no matter how good the process is. As an average person I would expect some sort or warranty on a shaft that costs $2300
-
dunno mate, good question, wonder if he is planning on selling to the public or just CMS customers. I guess all will be revealed in time
-
I do have insider knowledge but im not sure if the knowledge is to be shared at the moment as it isnt set it stone just yet and might be subject to change. Anyone interested should give CMS a call, all im saying is it's a decent amount cheaper than RipmeOFFpro ....oww sorry I meant Nizpro. Nizpro told me they wont give any warranty on their billet inputs, different story with CMS, Joe backs his products. Cant wait to boost again, cant tell ya how much I miss the car , need BOOST in my life ASAP !
-
Good news , Joe will be fitting a CMS billet input shaft , just waiting for the shaft to arrive, eta unknown .
-
If the weather is good then remember to get there early as it will probably be sold out, last time me and George just made it before the full quota was reached Are the 4 cms cars Veva, kosij, Milan and fgcool? Or is that ex intune car also going ?
-
you shouting me a built tailshaft Go and steal Miguels tailshaft for us for one day In all seriousness, I'll go out on a Wednesday in about a months time, gives me enough time to get my finances back in shape , doesnt help I still have to pay a $436 speeding fine. First offence in 3 long years, never been booked in my turbo and manage to get caught doing 26km/h over the limit in a 1998 LPG toyota camry FML :S
-
didnt you use octane booster?
-
Sweet , wish I had a built tailshaft and some radials so I could join u guys on the 31st :( Hopefully this time more cms cars show up , autotech demolished cms in the last outing , have fun
-
didnt he already rebuild his gearbox a while back?
-
no rush, gearbox is already out of the car, Joe will call me around mid week sometime and will either give me a green or red light. Green light means CMS billet input shaft is going in, red means cryo & shot peened shaft is going. I'd prefer to just spend the little extra, go billet and just be done with it , praying for a green light send us a message when your car is ready, wanna see the 9 second pass. Good chance of making it to Sunday street meet on the 31st?
-
its scary mate, dont notice any lag at all unless you boot it from a standing start , takes about half of first gear to spool up then sh*t hits the fan and a cloud of smoke follows I use E70, caltex eflex. United E85 is a hassle for me. Once my gearbox is built, take it for a test drive if you want
-
nice souvenir , stock input shaft didn't like 1100nm and 477rwkw at all

Tail Shaft Mall Wood V Cheeper No Frills ?
sct911 replied to genuine honest person's topic in Driveline Workshop
vevapower has run a 9 second pass on a retubed tailshaft from propeller shaft services in Bankstown, only around $500. I dont think many people on here are even close to running 9 second passes. I know half a dozen people that have had their tailshafts done there, not one has failed, $1500 on a tailshaft is a waste of money IMHO I will be getting my tailshaft retubed at propeller soon -
These part of normal stage 2 package or optional extra ?
-
you heard right, and ye I wont be left high and dry, if the cryo breaks I hope Joe keeps his word lol. Been a CMS customer ever since my car was stock, should be sweet man I'll do my part and drive it in manual mode when giving it some stick, that is until CMS billet shaft is ready to hit the market
-
I'll try and get the tailshaft done in the next few weeks, then I'll borrow someones radials and have a crack. Too much of a tightarse to buy my own tyres n rim Just got a call from Joe, we are going back to cryo shaft. With the nizzy shaft I wont get any warranty, there has been bad experiences in the past and if sh*t goes wrong, I wont be covered If the cryo shaft breaks , I'll be looked after by CMS , I think that's fair
-
ye mate , poor man pays twice. If cryo breaks, its the same bullsh*t all over again, pay for labour to take box out and strip it, then pay for new oil, just not worth it . My old man wants the gearbox to be unbreakable and is footing the bill for the nizzy shaft
-
bit of an update, got the car towed to CMS this morning for a stage 2 gearbox rebuild rated to 600rwkw. Within the past few hours I have changed my mind and am now going to go with a Nizpro stage 2 billet input shaft, will just pay whatever the difference is between the CMS cryo and Nizpro billet Called nizpro an hour ago and they can ship the shaft directly to me for $2295, or if CMS can do it for the same price then I will just ask Joe to order it for me Cant wait to drive my car again, been too long

i'd be up for stance sc-5 or vertini drifts
