  1. So that's why the group a tourers,gt3 cup cars and practicaly every other form of racing use manual gearboxes, cause the autos are quicker, silly me.
  2. this unit is basically an adjustable pressure relief valve.Depending on how much pressure you set the internal spring too, is how much boost pressure is needed to open the valve and allow the waste gate actuator to see boost. Example if valve set to 10 psi, the wastegate actuator will not see any boost pressure until the valve sees 10 psi and opens. What this all means is that you wont have any wastegate creep below 10 psi.(There are other factors to consider such as flapper size and actuator spring pessure) but that's the basics of it.
  3. possibly an idle speed set to low in program
  4. oh and you'll find more power in a new cat(stocker is way restrictive) But I know its hard to do everything at once( I WISH money grew on trees or I had a better printer)
  5. Nice results, I think your gonna need some 440cc bosch 968 injectors too, Ive also had my t tuned at SMW, Got a few more mods than yours though, made 322rwkw and 1030nm torque,at 4500rpm , then the injector duty cycle hit 100%.Im very happy with the work they've done so far. Theyre putting 60lb injectors next week, then it'll be fueled to redline after a retune.
  6. if its black and has 8 rows, its stock
  7. If only I looked half as good as you shabs, id have it made!!!!!!!!
  8. APEC Racing wheels style: Choppers
  9. Even at 415rwhp the 968's are well into the 90's on dutycycle and the standard valve springs are loading up the lifters, should drop a valve shortly. But you can lead a horse to water but you cant teach it to play the bagpipes.
  10. ok ok here they are, I fixed the centre cap problem today. Solution: Remove the hub nut dust cap and run a super fine bead of silastic on the back edge of the centre cap and snap into place(silastic is to seal out dust) I put some plastacine on the hub bolt when test fitting cap for clearence and found there was 2mm gap (chearing) The only problem with the silastic is you have to redo it everytime you balance your rims Itwas raining today sothe car and wheels are dirty(typical black paint) And yes I know it badly needs some brakes!!!!!
  11. that's exactly what im putting on next tyre change, just one question, how do you clear the top bolt with 245's up front (Will be trying the rears on the front for clearence tomorrow) These rims are 40p offset so that helps a little too I guess one problem with these is that the hub nut cover sticks out a bit on the fronts making it impossible to put the centre cap on. May have to fit a spacer and modify the the hub nut cap a little
  12. Yes they are choppers, and they should come in 19's id say
  13. St george tyres (Arncliffe)
