...and back to the question. Are Turbo oil leaks easy to diagnose and fix? Or is this a full turbo replacement?

[HI all, I've not long owned my XR6 Turbo. Absolutely love it! I’ve noticed on acceleration it blows white smoke. The car is white so I’m also noticing soot like residue on the rear of the car. Is this normal? If not, any ideas what it could be? Thanks!
