  1. Have you played with the taillight globes lately
  2. your on an xr6t forum, the obvious would be too sell the 8, and buy an xr6t
  3. First mod I have done. Maybe the transmission shop that said it milkshaked, installed it incorrectly. Great unit and peace of mind. Imo a must have for an xr6t auto.
  4. This thread is useless without pics.
  5. Depends on your power goal. Your list of mods should max out the turbo. As for brands pw or plazmaman would be my choice.
  6. Part was $750, pretty steep for what it is but if it solves the milkshake problem well worth it imo.
  7. Will post pics and feedback on the new pwr heat exchanger.
  8. Hard to resist once you drive one hey.
  9. It's hideous
  10. It will be in the mechatronics unit itself and all through your clutch packs if milkshake has occured and will need to be pulled apart and rebuilt. They are trying to get out of it cheap and hoping a flush will mask the real problem.
  11. True, would hate to buy trans cooler kit and end up having to go with pwr in the end, would start getting pricey.
  12. Thanks for the replies, have been tossing up whether to go with the furious cooler kit or the new pwr heat exchanger. If I go with the furious kit I am wanting to put it behind fog lights so in winter I am hoping it will act a little like a heat exchanger and get up to temp quicker as it gets quite cold where I live. I am not sure about overheating though in normal driving conditions with fog lights installed as summer also gets quite hot 40+ degree days. I know the fog light can be taken out but I quite like the look of them installed. 100% success rate sounds good so furious kit is looking good and the only way ill know is to try it.
  13. Trying to find out which kit to go for. They have advertised two kits one for 330 and a turbo kit For 850 which has fan and braided lines. Just trying to get some more pics on the cheaper option Cooler kit mounted behind fog light. Is the whole kit complete and is the hose diameter the right size As I have heard ratter (pitlane) say that these need to be thicker to help with line pressure. I know jet and the guy from mackay have these kits installed, if you guys could chime in and tell me if anything else is needed For installation it would be much appreciated.
  14. Have a look at Kpm Motorsport on ford forums, they sell em direct fit
  15. To the OP it could also be diff bushes, pretty common.
  16. If these are out of alignment slightly they will make a creaking knocking sound when turning steering wheel to full lock and going up/down driveways etc. Having camber out on rear can also effect it aswell. May not be this at all but it is worth looking into imo.
  17. Has the car been lowered and shimmed
  18. Could be cv's
  19. usually in the car world when someone says it has spun a bearing I think they mean the big end bearing is gone ie motor. I think the OP might be confused
  20. I think he may have asked me
  21. Don't do track work, that's why they are fine for my application. For highway/street with the odd hard stop they have not faded or shuddered yet.
  22. Have had rda slotted rotors ( the cheaper ones ) and qfm hpx pads on the front for near 10000k's, can't fault em for the price. Will see how long they last I guess
  23. I don't think the ba came in purple but the interior shot is definitely a 4 speed. Assuming it has the zf And it has been well looked after with low k's the price isn't too bad. With the stronger rods I guess it depends on what power you are wanting out of the car
  24. normal
