  1. Cheaper than a milkshake. I'd hope they provide some stats on how quick it gets up to temp compared with the OEM exchanger.
  2. My grandpa had a XP, my dad had a and I've got a FG.
  3. I've read that the extensive pid scan can take a few hours. There is an option to enable fast comms if your adapter supports it. Not sure if that helps
  4. Yeah it is, they got it sorted a few months back.
  5. Hmmm..gives me 383°F which is 195°C on my G6ET, while coolant temp is 80°C
  6. I tried running a pid scan in torque to get the trans temp pid but get an out of memory error after about 15 mins. Emailed the stack trace to the dev. Running it on a nexus 4 so memory is not an issue.
  7. Odd, I have that PID for coolant temp, not trans. Max temp is set to 120C.Would be great if we could get a definitive list somewhere.
  8. Are the outlaw / venom cats in the same ballpark? I see they are both bolt on. Interested as the high flow cat is next on my list.

I'm a bit concerned that the external coolers keep the trans about 20c cooler than standard. I'm going to sit on the sidelines until someone figures out what's going on.
  10. Come on lads, it's not a peen contest. You both have great rides that many are jealous of. For me, Jack's has been the best written up thread to follow and he's been one of the most honest blokes around here. Chill out and back to the fast cars.
  11. Anyone have a list of the ford/fg pid's? Torque- scan crashes on me after about 15 mins
  12. $20 if you have an android phone. $5 for the torque app and $15 for an ELM327 bluetooth OBD2 interface
  13. The KPM ones are Bosch EV14, got some sitting in a drawer waiting for more go-fast bits. http://www.kpmauto.com/tabid/223/CategoryID/17/List/0/Level/a/ProductID/232/Default.aspx
  14. Thanks for the input and the welcome. Bruce's quote was significantly cheaper, but it's not really about the cash for me. These cars aren't cheap to begin with so I'm willing to put up the cash to get it done properly. I was leaning towards kpm mostly because they are 5 mins down the road from me and if there were any issues it'd be convenient, but maybe it's worth another fang down to londsdale? Cheers again
  15. J@t, you had a kpm tune or can point me to a thread? I've picked up a G6ET and impressed with both Dave and Bruce. I've chatted to both and they both know their stuff. I've been stalking here and AFF and have decided on my mod path, got the 1000cc kpm/Bosch injectors already, next high flow cat + intercooler + pipes + CAI, then tune and I'll be content for a while. Bruce's dyno seems to read rather high? Took the stock G6ET there and he said 300rwkw with just a tune, that scared the sh*t out of me...lol
  16. +1 I'd be in on that
