Based on circumstance and the knowledgeable folk on these forums
I've opted for the following for my G6ET:
1000CC Bosch EV14 KPM injectors
PW stage 1 no cut intercooler + pipes
Venom 100cpi high flow bolt on cat
PWR heat exchanger
Hopefully good bang for buck, just need to book it in for the tune when I get the time.
Good luck with your research!
Thanks for dropping the knowledge bombs gents. I have some brand new Bosch EV14 1000cc I got for a good price. Was a bit concerned they might be overkill for stock FG huffer, cat and cooler.
Think poll is skewed due to old blokes not using computers as much. Whenever I see another G6E/T on the road there is grey hair, cardigan and broad rimmed hat + box of tissues on the parcel shelf.
What if the Ford used car dealer sold you a car that was tuned but still under warranty? Happened to me. I didn't know it was tuned until it went up on the dyno. This was tune only, no other mods. They either didn't know or didn't disclose it to me.
Its dependent on what I set "units" too in the torque settings. If I have it set to Fahrenheit I get 365F, if I set it to Celsius I get 185C. So the conversion is right. Just the value seems high. If it were 185F that would make more sense.
I got one of the regular sized ones for $15 off ebay from some bloke in Melbourne. Think his name is nbabattery or something like that. Been working fine for me, apart from trans temp. These cheap dongles are hit and miss. You either get a good one or a crap one.
Read post #75 of this thread. Open torque, from the first page go to 'settings' then 'manage extra pids/sensors' and enter the stuff in the post I mentioned. Or you can 'add predefined set' and choose 'ford'.
