  1. Sounds like a very similar setup to me, 1440p 144hz is the tits. Will run the PG279Q till they die probally. Used to be a 4770k with 2x GTX 780's. More recently a 12600k & 3080 both on water self contained. Sent from my SM-S911B using Tapatalk
  2. This is for the rear PCV line that goes to the intake Manifold. I have 2 independent catch cans for the 2 loops. I dont remember what the stock one looks like any more.
  3. What check valve have people used? Was wondering why everything has been getting oily, my valve had failed and was sending boost up the wrong hole!
  4. Input on Selection plz. Mostly if anyone can confirm or comment on front fitment with 265's and if they will scrub. There's so much information on here, I've now learnt how to read wheel & tyre sizes. FG Ute, Custom trayback will be made to fit the rears. Will run at a reasonable height and not all tilty wheeled. Koya SF11 - custom offset, PCD, bore. 19" x 9" +28? Front 265/35/r19 ?? Anyone have input on this spec or how it fits??? My stock 19"s with 245/40/r19 have 10mm tyre clearance to the inner strut and this new combo should leave about 8mm inner tyre clearance. 19" x 11" +35 rear 325/30/r19 Michilin PS4S. May fit a 305wide for cheaper tyre selections. Limited by internal Brake line clearance, already tweaked the caliper hardline & chassie bracket for extra room. Has 45mm clearance to 245 tyre on stock 19"s.
  5. Indeed it was the fronts. @Slam it Im only 3 yrs late on the reply 🫠
  6. Modified my Tramp rods to have a Bushed end. Installed these rods years ago but removed them due to the NVH they caused; a direct metal link from the axle to chassie, reserved them for motorsport days only. Used a leaf spring shackle hanger & bushes. Cut them down and welded to an appropriately threaded bolt. Works excellently without the noise issue now. Such a more direct response from the rear end without the leaf springs winding up and releasing on each gear change. Little too late for my leaking pinion seal, & torn centre bearing though. Also a leaking rear main seal added to the 'Ignoring-till-its-a-bigger-problem' list. Sent from my SM-S911B using Tapatalk
  7. Paintless dent removal done on the ute today. Smoothen out 14yrs of shopping trolley dings and the creased bonnet. Got the headliner re-done in black at the same time, but the bloke knocked off early for the long weekend, so I'll be doing the next 1000km without half my interior. Some sort of paint correction next, probably ceramic coat and see what can be done about stone chips. Retiring the Turbo from work duties soon so I wanna get everything tidied up while it's still tax-claimable. Sent from my SM-S911B using Tapatalk
  8. Atomic Anchorlox. I've been through a bucket of nuts, nylocks, high tensile nuts, even nordlock washers on my turbo manifold. Finally paid up for the Anchorlox so they never come loose again. Sent from my SM-S911B using Tapatalk
  9. Cheers Puff! If that's the case I'm pretty sure Joe will keep her strapped down no problem. Sent from my SM-S911B using Tapatalk
  10. Heading back to my tuner to step up the power level soon and wondering at what point tyre selection is going to give the dyno man a hard time or affect results? Aiming for 400kw, I have a set of taller 17" 225 LT Van tyres (daily work horse with 800kg loaded tool canopy) and Nankang 245 Semi's on the factory 19"s. Neither I'm assuming would be optimal on a chassie dyno? Or there's the old dinged up 19"s with 10% tread trailer tyres. [emoji28]
  11. I'm with you in that they are a bit messy looking. Don't have oil pooling in the intake manifold any more though. No smells. They definitely work. Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk
  12. First propper clean since christmas. Clay bar, decontamination, paint cleanse, wax, sealant, interior detail. New headlights. She's lookin pretty again! [emoji7] Thinking I'll dig up some old threads on blacking out the beige trims soon. Headliner has started delaminating. Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk
  13. From memory, the factory cat and dump are the restrictions, so you can basically do whatever you want with the rest of the exhaust without needing a tune. Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk
  14. I can always nit pick myself on what I'd do different next time, but realistically, Im very happy with how everything came out. Still looks like a 60's fibro shack from the outside, but that's a project for another year. Back to turbo things for a little while. And maybe a couple of weekends off if I'm lucky. 15. The ute, along with many other things, have been completely neglected the last 12 months. Decided to finally do 'a little fix up' to my first home. Had been fixing bits and pieces around, under & behind the house over the years, but I bumped the send button this time. Within the span of 2 weeks, plan went from a cheap, simple bathroom Re-do & replace the kitchen cabinets. - To ripping half my house out, moving walls and an entire interior fix up. Done basically everything myself except for the tiling. Still the last 10% to do; finish flooring, splashbacks, kitchen pannels & shelving, laundry bifold doors ect. But family member needed secure housing so I limiter bashed the last month to get it habitable for them. Can plod along with the rest whenever. Also included the entirety of my architectural drawing (singular) to show just how organised I am. Smash first - plan later! Sent from my SM-G781B using Tapatalk
  16. My motherboard came with auto overclocking software. So I hit the go fast button and left it at that.
  17. Yea I say I want to change it out but not sure how I feel about such a decision yet. Built it as a apprentice. Has space inside for a massive water cooling loop that I never bothered doing. [emoji1787] yea that's an old photo, desk hasn't been that neat in yrs in yrs lol. Have a 144hrtz 1440p G-sync 27" ROG monitor now.
  18. I7 4770k. Has sat at 4.1GHz it's whole life. I still need to turn down setting for decent fps at 1440p and my 3080 never gets 100% utilisation. It would have paired well up to about a 3060 I reckon.
  19. Tore down my very first PC (2011 build) a couple weeks ago. And just like a project car, has been sitting on the floor in pieces since. The soft touch finish they used on cases back in the day goes super nasty after a couple years, sticky crap everywhere! Using its parts to mock up a new custom case build in an ammo box. Upgraded my current (2013 build) desk PC with a 3080 hybrid last year but the CPU just ain't cutting the mustard anymore. And I'm kinda over the bulky big desk now anyway.
  20. Last day of isolation. Was finally able to do the iso project I bought early 2020. Gramps looking classy with the restored and polished 5 poster. Just need a set of 9" spotties and a uhf aerial that's not connected to anything to finish the look. Work truck got the full Bowdens paint cleanse, wax, sealant and interior detail.
  21. Late night scrolled accross this thread so here's a little contribution from myself. Little PC build I did for the GF 2 yrs ago out of the Fallout 4 special edition pip-boy case.

My first AZ shot was rough, knocked me flat for near 3 days. 24 hrs of cold sweats and violently shaking. The next 2 days was recovery from every muscle aching. Having spent the previous 2 days wielding a jackhammer wouldn't have helped the sore muscle recovery though. Still waiting for the second shot so I can use more sick leave.
  24. I have mine really tight so it goes stustustu alot with regular driving but still opens up and vents on full boost. But loose as necessary to stop it opening at idle is the basics I think.
  25. I had it happen on a rear aftermarket shock. Donking noise suddenly appeared going home from work and one corner would keep bouncing around after a bump. Was just over 3 yrs old but manufacturer replaced it straight away for me.
