  1. Cro, I watched your car like a hawk while it was here, and I can tell you, it never left the dealership. It spent some time idling in the shop, while a few mechanics looked at the excessive coolant leak, but it certainly wasnt taken for any test drives. None that I am aware of anyway. It does frustrate me too when little things like this happen, you start to wonder whether your car turned into a amusement ride during lunchtimes...
  2. Go crash you car, that'll give me something to do! A quote! Note I said your car, not your bike, you've already crashed that....
  3. If you can get a exact colour match, maybe....... nothing looks worse I reckon than somebody that has colour coded parts of their car and the paint match is up the creek! I personally wouldnt do it myself, but that's just me.
  4. Pfffft! As if this feature would be that easy! Come on! I have never heard of this MP3 feature, I am very keen to learn more about it......
  5. We have swapped over a few bootlids at PD. Keeps two owners happy! The XR owner is happy, and suddenly the XT goes a lot faster! As for the parcel shelf mounted brake light, is il illegal here in the ACT to have a spoiler mounted L.E.D and the parcel shelf mounted brake light working together. You'd have to get a picky inspector or fed to defect you I reckon, but they can if they want.
  6. The standard "small" intercooler (BAT 6K775 A) costs $1061.72 trade!!!! Id say the Typhoon unit will cost around the 1500 clam mark. The large Typhoon intercooler wont be listed on Mircocat until later on in the year, I will post up prices and part numbers as soon as I get them. I am keen to do this conversion too, depending on how much FOMOCO charge for the Typhoon unit. But I like Scotty's idea......
  7. Ever since the BA XR's were released, we have had roughly 30k's worth of stuff go walking at the dealership im at! Wheels mainly, but some winches, snorkels, and batteries have vanished too..... incredible.
  8. Like most of whats been said here, I agree Brian's car is a absolute rocket. Photo's simply dont do it justice. And the torque the thing has... no dyno graph can describe how much pull that motor is generating. Hats off to the Nizpro team, and Brian for jumping in and having a red hot crack! Cant wait to drive it with the 6 speed!!! (hint hint!)
  9. OK I would appreciate some help here form other Ford parts interpreters here.... I have looked up a ICC unit for my car (which has premium audio and sat nav to ensure it has the colour screen and 6 in dash), came up with the P/N BAF 044M00 H5GA, trade price is $3078.96 HOWEVER when you access Ford PANDA and punch it up using K04, it is on supply only release, you have to contact DPSG...... would this be for warranty purposes or whats the story? Help me rhonda, help help me rhonda (and everyone else wanting to upgrade!)

    Bleed Valve

So that when it does go bang you can cheat ford and get them to fix it for free? seems a bit dishonest to me I can see it now... "No mr Tow Truck driver, you can't tow it directly to a dealer, you first have to tow it to my house so I can strip all the aftermarket bits off it, and refit all the factory bits, and try and make it look like nothings been changed, then you can come back to my place, pick it up and tow it to the nearest Ford dealer"
  14. Be careful here guys, when I used to work at Nissan, a lot of people used to fit the aftermarket polyurethane bull bars (smartbars) to their Y61 Patrols, and Nissan were voiding cooling warranties because these bars were considerably restricting airflow to vital components. We had 1 motor overheat big time, and Nissan refused warranty because of a lack of airflow to the radiator. Something to keep in mind....
  15. Umm, havent you answered your own question?
  16. Yeah, I had a trip down Brown Mountain just like that! Really enjoyed it! Even though I was in the AU Didnt exceed the speed limit once....
  17. Ross, keep a eye out fo the Yellow Quickfit commondore ute, it has the "spinner" wheels, it was also at Summernats. What are people thinking? They look horrid IMO.
  18. Take it easy on me here, ive been away from work for the last week and a bit! I believe ALL factory Falcon plug in wiring harnesses have the 12 pin plug. All the Falcon one's we have at work do anyway!!!! I think you can still plug your standard 7 pin in, it just doesnt cover up all 12 pins, leaves the big 5 pins exposed at the top? Or sumfing like that...
  19. No they didnt. From my experience, you need a bit more of a hit than Cro's to set them off.
  20. Falchoon, youre posts are writing cheques your driving style cant cash! I have the brakes, and after this afternoon, I will have the power!
  21. I can see a great photo opportunity already! Everybody lined up on the side of the road waiting for Falchoon to catch up!
