Everything Ken has said is absolutely spot on. Something really needs to be done about all this.

I have big brakes fitted to my car, and they have done over 5000klms now, and I have absolutely no brake shudder. I dont have Herrod's gear though, I have AP Racing. Simply fantastic brakes.

If you think the site and its members are addictive, wait until you go on a cruise! Great fun, belly laughs galore, putting names to faces, and generally spending time with top people. Oh yeah, and driving your XR with heaps of others is a buzz as well!

Go back to a dealership and have a wander around, and try out some other console lids. If you honestly think yours is making a excessive noise, report it to your service department. Usually when a car is so new, they will replace small things like console lids fairly easily. My fuse box in the engine bay was lightly scratched, they replaced it, no fuss. :spacecraft:

We all decided to borrow at the time, Dads brand spanking EA Falcon, and go see Bon Jovi at Eastern Creek. The concert got virtually rained out, so we went to Panthers. None of us know how we got back to the hotel room. We all went to a chew-and-spew in Chinatown, all spewed, and crashed dads car on the way home! Punctured the radiator, so dad had to come up from ACT to Sydney with a car trailer and tow us home.....

Yeah, I managed to clean all the old wax off my mudflaps last night, they came up a treat! Had to take them off the car though, that part was a b**ch.
