  1. Anyone got some pics? I didnt see any of it! :(
  2. So if the post of yours which I quoted above is not bagging manual drivers what is it exactly??? That post above is me saying your general view towards auto owners is a tad warped. We auto drivers are not all old, slow, girls or whatever else. Some people buy auto's for a reason. Just keep that in mind, that's all im trying to say. Exactly like you said, horses for courses. Cheers!
  3. This quote wasnt aimed at you Jeff, it was aimed at Mr Walker.... he said the exact opposite thing in the APS Auto Upgrade topic in another section......
  4. Andrew! Dont make me have to get out of bed any earlier!
  5. Yeah, im not 100% sure now whether they oiled my bolts or the bushes!!! all this talk about oil has me confused
  6. Marty, they removed and replaced the bolts that secured my rack, they oiled the bolts as well, not sure what difference oiling threads does, but my shudder is now gone...... My shudder was evident when reversing up my driveway.
  7. So we have to think? And use our heads? Crickey, better make sure Kirsty can come along to this one!
  8. Here's one for you to ponder Jeff, if you have time to think about anybody else but yourself..... Have you ever stop to think just maybe there is a reason why certain people choose auto's? Maybe because of a disability in the family? In your mind, its manuals or nothing. If people own auto's, they are girls, old, slow or whatever. I will introduce you to someone one day, and then, maybe you will change your tunnel vision. If that's at all possible. I have never bagged out manual drivers. Never. Just stuck up for auto drivers. Who sometimes dont have a choice in the transmission they can use.
  9. its funny cause its true...... Congrats Chris!
  10. Andrew, I agree with all of your rules, but I totally 110% agree with this one. If we all keep a eye on each other, all cruises will be a much more stress-free environment. Nothing worse than getting lost somewhere you've never been before, with no CB reception, no mobile phone reception, and the sat nav doesnt work either! :(
  11. I dont have sloooow upshifts, and I certainly dont have flaring upshifts. And no, im not old. However, I do have nice smooth take offs, I dont have warped flywheels or clutch plates, and I dont have to worry about getting Ford to do warranty on my flywheel or clutch plate!
  12. Exactly the same as Jindy would be cool. Kirsty will definately enjoy the winery bit...... She could probably make some calls to some wineries if needed, as she is a liquor rep! Lets get another cruise happening pronto!
  13. Wouldnt have this problem if you bought a auto! Gee , that sounds familiar.......
  14. I think the only reason we were all so "close" was because of the wake up call....... I like the closeness too.
  15. Slot in a manual It's good to be back - I've missed this place. Another highly constructive post form Mr Walker..... oh yes we have all missed you so much too.
  16. Ken is spot on once again. Andrew has a lot of experience with cruises, he was keeping a eye on me during Jindy, and I certainly appreciated it. If there were any hazards, he would relay them to me via CB. It worked very well IMO. Cars spreading out is a bad idea I reckon. If someone leaves the road, and if nobody sees it, who will stop and help him? If my car left the road because of a blown tyre, car stalled, brake failure or whatever, I certainly hope some members will pull over and help me! But if nobody is watching me, or saw me leave the road, im all on my own until somebody realises im missing..........
  17. Ask Trumpy how well the XR6T drifts, his chariot is due to be in a performance vid very shortly! Should look SUPER! :o :o
  18. Ive got 4 x AU 16in steelies in my garage with no tyres if youre interested Ive also got 4 x XR 17in wheels and tyres!
  19. They should come down to the A.C.T, the illegal street racing fraternity is certainly alive and kicking down here!

Ken? Hello! You slipping? Where's the old "what ya wearin" line? And shouldnt we be trying to push him into buying a fleet of HgAg?
  21. Very easy install. Takes about 40 minutes the first time, and about 20 for subsequent installations (once you know the tricks...). I helped MS700 put his in a couple of weeks after I installed mine. Instuctions provided are clear and concise, but if your not confident come for a drive down to the 'gong one weekend and I'll do it for ya I personally recommend Trumpy as a Gaugeworks boost gauge installer!!! Top job he did, while I stood around drinking all of Cro's Corona's.......
  22. Mine is like a alloy colour.........
  23. this topic has been done soooooo many times the manual guys all say that manuals are better the auto guys all say auto's are better the manual guys say auto drivers wear skirts the auto guys say the manual guys need someone to hold their handbag while they change gears
