  1. Dont be afraid to keep up with the times Ross! This was going around last year! Geez, I know you red drivers are slow, but I didnt think you's were that slow.
  2. Now ill get a bit technical..... When I weigh the jack, do you want me to weigh the handle and brace bit too? AND, what about the bit of masonite and the securing straps for the spare wheel? Unfortunately trump, I cant work out what the performance gains will be until you work out what you want me to weigh.
  3. As everyone knows, Kirsty has a AU as a company car. It isnt the prettiest car on the block, but once you are in it, it is a very good car. Hasnt stopped once, very good on the highway, fairly comfortable too. Around town fuel usage is shocking. And it seems to chew tyres too. But maybe that has something to do with the other bloke who drives it..... Make sure you get a AU III if you can.
  4. So why have you come to Fordxr6turbo.com enquiring about insurance for Holdens then? Shouldnt you go to ls1.com and ask them?
  5. Do you have friends? Surely not. All the STI's and the like that come in are usually insured with Shannons.
  6. Shouldnt you be off fitting some training wheels?
  7. I have said it many times, and I will say it again, Brians car rocks. I for one am very disappointed that his 6sp thread got deleted, I never got the chance to read it at all. :( But I have had the sheer pleasure of driving Brian's car. It is a rocket. It has everything. Accellerates like a doorslammer, stops like a V8 Supercar, and handles surperbly too. Stop start traffic doesnt worry it at all, and Joyce can drive it too! What more do you need? Its perfect. The hardest thing about driving it was giving the keys back.
  8. Your brain is definately lighter, from lack of use, cause you sure cant think up anything original to say!
  9. Its rather obvious you didnt nag enough.
  10. So what colour should I weigh then?
  11. Well no, I havent thought about that, but now you mention it.... What you all have to understand, is that im a rather large bloke, there's roughly 120kg of me, so when I back something out, it usually aint small either..... Sorry if anybody is eating.
  12. ooooo ill see what I can do. That one could be a bit harder still, we only put $40 worth of juice in them. Maybe one customer will just get lucky!
  13. Nope, youre not the only one.
  14. Yep, most of em are all snobs down here! A very select few acknowledge you, if youre lucky. Ive got a blueprint in my street, he doesnt even wave at me! Maybe its because I kicked his @ss in touch footy.......
  15. YCL's on fire of late! Youre in fine form big fella! Keep up the good work!
  16. If you need any more help, ask saleen1, the big fella has one on his rig! Sounds tops! Sorry, im not 100% sure how rob connected his up, but I sure do know he didnt have to weld anything! I was very impressed with the GFB unit. Very well made, and easily adjustable.
  17. I should be able to handle that. There is a newish weighing station behind my work. Just gotta find a unoptioned T now! That will be hard, just about all of them have premium sound. How much juice do you want in it? They leave the factory with bugger all. Might weigh it with hardly any juice in it, that way we know where we stand.
  18. If there is a problem with the amount of time mods have to spend on the site splitting and clearing, why dont you put some more mods on? If you's share the workload around, shouldn't that make it easier?
  19. For all the "seroius" topics, I think this checklist is great thinking.
  20. I actually did my little weigh in session during my lunch break! Some would think I have a permanent lunch break!
  21. A before lunch and after lunch figure will be forthcoming soon I hope! Well I backed one out at lunch, so the figures will be mis-leading......
  22. We dont seem to be selling many RTV's at the moment, ive only seen a handful out on the road, shame that, they are a good thing! All it needs is a front diff! Ford sold buckets of the AU ute's, and that is when Expensive Daewoo fell behind. Now that Expensive Daewoo have caught up, maybe now Ford can release the RTV in 4wd? Please!
  23. I am currently weighing up all my options.......
  24. Lets get a few thing right Ross; For a start im not your mate! Secondly I am weighing up the differences between a XR8 bonnet and a standard! Thirdly, you dont have smoko at 10am, youre whole working day is a smoko break! Id be very suprised if youre even out of bed by 10am!
  25. Allrighty then! Steel spare wheel out of a Phantom XR6T =23kgs Fairmont wheel fitted with a 225/60/ZR17 tyre (I think!) = 24kgs. Not much in it! I cant see a 18in wheel weighing much more than the Fairmont wheel. Hope this helps!
