Woolworths petrol? The thought sends shivers down my spine...... Ive seen fuel filters removed form cars run exclusively on Woolies juice, it was completely blocked, and wasnt the prettiest looking liquid coming out either.

This place wont let you take the rim home until its fully dried, it took them nearly 1 week to do my Simmons! They are ultra fussy. Trust me.

From Oct 03, the callipers are different if my memory serves me correctly. They definately did change callipers sometime!

Wheel factory in Queanbeyan (may be called Quickfit Qbn now, not 100% sure), repair alloy wheels, they repolished and repainted my Simmons, very very good job. Highly recommend them. They are on Silva Road, off Yass road.

From now on, whoever starts a "manual v's auto, which is better" should be automatically locked and deleted I reckon! Nothing ever gets resolved. It just provokes more arguements. And in England arent they paying around $1 per litre.... pounds that is! Equates to around $2.50 per litre! Face the facts. Petrol is never going to drop in price substantially, it will always be rising. I remember my dad filling the 120ltr tank in my XC when it was around 30c a litre.....

Bad idea Scott. We are then restricting ourselves to the heavily populated parts of Australia only. What happens to our friends at Kiwi land and, infact the rest of the world? If new menbers have to meet up with somebody in order to post, the majority of new members wont even bother. Like I said, I like input on problems from other people, who have a unbiased view, and dont even own a XR, but are heavily involved with modifying cars. Sometimes they come up with a idea we would never have thought of. Leave it the way it is. The mods always weed out the time wasters. These time wasters dont hang around long enough to warrant membership validation.

Not all of the heat shielding around the turbo (that doesnt vibrate), just the shielding around the pipes under the car! I bet all of the aftermarket guys that put non OEM exhausts on dont re-fit the shielding! They dont seem to be suffering from excessive heat from under the car! The guys that have the APS exhaust, what happened to your heat shielding? Did they refit it? Infact anybody who has a aftermarket exhaust? Besides the turbo heat shield, what happened to the rest?

Well theye are certainly selling more BA series 1 than they ever sold AU series 1! If I remember correctly, when the AU's came out, they werent exactly recall free either! Like I always say, you always hear the bad stories, never hear the good stories.
