  1. Be happy with what you have! I have to run 3 Microcat catalogues, Subaru FAST, EKTA, Outlook, NewCar daysheet (internal), AutoOffice, and usually TMCA.com on my machine at once, and what do I have? Celeron 1.0! Be happy with 2.4! No wonder they took internet access off you, computer would probably have a heart attack trying to run that as well, especially all the pr0n you download...wait on...that's me! I think one of the reasons the net was axed was becuae there were at least 3 of us live streaming Nova radio....... The biggest dealer principal in America owns us! He can afford it! that's what we kept telling ourselves anyway......
  2. I know someone who can get you one..... A lot cheaper than 2200 too..... A good trade price is about 1800 PM me if you are serious.

  6. I visit Neal Bates' workshop fairly often, he gets all sorts of wacky prototypes to drive around. Once they are finished with them, they are all completely destroyed.... it does make you cry, especially after seeing the amount of time the head fabricator spends building roll cages and other stuff.
  7. Can you ring Simon and ask him? That sounds tasty...
  8. I think clear tail lights only suit the cars they come out on eg IS series Lexus, Mazda 6 etc..... My 2c worth. Whatever floats your boat. Its your car. If we all had the same car life would be rather boring!

    New Motor

OK, just dropped the motor off at the mechanics, and I asked the $10,000 question. How much at the treads? He replied "id be expecting at least 600hp at the wheels" We will see how we go......
  10. I change my oil religiously at every 5000klms, and my car played up on the highway about 2 weeks ago....
  11. The thought of Glenn working on my car sends a shiver down my spine!  j/k! Should have gone to Parts dept to do your work experience!

Thanks for the comments fella's! It has really put me into a super-motivated state to get the car up and running ASAP! Motors that look like that tend to do that to you..... :banghead: I rung my alloy welder today, he is ready to go with re-plumbing the intake, im dropping the motor off tomorrow, hopefully that will be installed by the end of next week, then we will have plenty of time to sort out the Haltech.... and then we start to have some fun! I will be taking some more pics of the project next week, and I will take some shots of the XC when I wash him on Wednesday.
  13. Myself, Rob and Ross saw some badges at FPV, that certainly arent in production yet, but they were in exactly the same font as the current GT badge....

We really have no idea, as nobody has centrifugally supercharged a stroked, injected Cleveland with alloy heads! If anybody has, can I have your phone number please! The heads made 601hp on a unstroked Cleveland already, ive ported them, increased the capacity form 351 to 378, and im pushing 15psi in as well...... it really is anybody's guess. 700? 800? Id be stoked to make 1000 flywheel, but somehow I dont think that's realistic. The whole thing could flop and only make 400...

Here is another pic taken looking at the "back" of the motor. Look closely and you can see the intake blades on the supercharger....

Hi Scotty, 1) The intended purpose of the car is to be very reliable, and smooth to drive on the street. And maybe spit out some "nice" numbers on dyno days! But number 1 goal is street driven. Just like BCL's car. 2) The block is just standard 351, mortar filled to the welsh plugs, and the bores have been sleeved. I have had it sonic tested, but dont have access to the results. My engine builder has the results. 3) As far as I am aware, its a standard crank that has been stroked a little. Blown motors usually arent that hard on bottom ends, so we felt a 4MAB was a tad overkill. 4) Fuel will be Optimax on the street, and C16 on dyno days, Summernats etc.... Whenever I intend to give it large, ill use C16. I have infact picked up the motor ( ), its currently sitting in the back of a work van, heavily guarded mind you! Will be posting pics later tonight!

Are you sure? Sorry, a little confusion there.... It wasnt seam welded from the factory, but is now.

    New Motor

Yea, I am rather serious! Its a ex pursuit car, so it has (had) the factory 351, disc brake 9in with factory tramp rods, seam welded engine bay, fluted bonnet, and the twin round headlights. Ive got 18in F90 Simmons on him, 275/40/18 on the rear and 243/45/18 on the front. All the badges are removed, except for the 5.8 on the guards, which I have stuck a "supercharged" badge underneath..... all the body moulding have been removed too. Its got electric Recaro's, and a big wireless with T.V. Ive done some work on the brakes too, but not to the extent of the XR6. Big brakes (AP) are definately on the cards...... Dad actually bought the car from the factory back in '78, traded it in at '90, and I bought it back in '98. Unfortunately, between the other owner, the car was stolen, and the side was wiped out, so it has been resprayed, I am planning on giving it a total respray probably next year. Main goal at the moment is getting him back on the road! And I cant friggin wait!
