OK then, sorry for not replying sooner. The Territory trans cooler is a very thin unit, it is only 6 rows high. It is very wide ie; at least 30cm or so, but not very tall, about 10cm. It sits infront of the radiator on the Territory's, very low down. You "may" be able to squeeze it in between the intercooler and radiator, but for the money they are charging, you would be much better off with a aftermarket cooling unit, mounted above the intercooler. And Vik, :lol: that garnish price has just mysteriously crept up by a few pineapples!

3 or 4 years ago I had the XC and the XB entered in Summernats, went through 600 litres of Avgas in 4 days! At the time, Avgas was $1 per litre!

We have a Taxi with the same complaint, the Techs have traced it back to one of the rear sway bar mount bushes - will keep in touch.

Ive used my Car Bra plenty of times, and ive never had a problem with it. Infact, im just about to order a Car Bra for Kirsty's Territory.

The garage is still empty........ :lol: We have hit a few problems with the mighty XC, so the shed will be vacant for a little longer yet. Until I get Kirsty's Territory in there anyway.....

Warranty + mods? The end result will all come down to ATTITUDE. If you lie about mods, expect to cough up large. If you are honest and upfront, you will get a lot further. At the end of it all, remember this: "if you play, expect to pay"

Will it be a 4 speed or 5 speed auto...? Neither ... keep counting. 3 sp? The ol' C6 could handle the torque I reckon! :lol:

If it's that dangerous when you're driving in the wet maybe you should invest in an aftermarket T/C ... might save yourself (and maybe others) a lot of grief This is one of the main reasons I never take any of my "treasured" cars out in the wet, all the "Brocky's" seem to come out as well.....

Hi guys, As some of you know, Kirsty just took delivery of a new Silhouette Territory. Now ive heard lots about the CAPA Silhouette Territory, aparrently its been lowered with a huge set of alloys on it? Looks tops from the reports ive heard! I dont suppose anybody has some pics of the said CAPA bus do they? It was at Bathurst last weekend, and id say its getting around all the car shows etc. Any help would be much appreciated! Nope! Will probably have pricing closer to the end of the year. November if youre lucky! :lol: I saw the oil cooler, very compact, water to oil design, looked really good. Just goes between the oil filter and the pump. Nice and compact. You pump coolant through it via the heater bypass hoses.

The cooler is not fitted as part of any towpack on the BA. It is however fitted to the territory RWD when you order the 2300kg towpack (the AWD already has one). Can any of our Ford Parts dudes get the price on the territory kit (Part #SX7A095AA) and maybe let us know what it comes with? I believe Territory Ghia's have the trans cooler fitted from factory as well, regardles if its RWD or AWD. I will check out the cooler package tomorrow if I get time and post back a reply.

Unfortunately Dingah is correct. The only Factory auto trans cooling done is through the radiator.

Doubt it! That price is under trade, if you approach your local spare parts they may match it, depending if they are a distributor of Ford parts or not. Good Luck.

We got some MkII in yesterday, a NA XR6, and a auto XR8. Dammit, I want to have a look at the 6 sp! :lol: MkII's are definatley out there.

Hi Rob, About $300 for the lot, including the "cold air adapter". If you wanted to run a BMC filter as well, you'd need to chuck about another $140 on top of that price as well. You can definately hear the turbo drawing the air in with any modified air intake, and also the wastegate "chatter" is a lot more audible as well. I rate the sound highly! Cheers!
