  1. Yes, laugh it up. I'm usually in a Volvo or a Land Rover more often than anything else. But there's the occasions I'm in something far cooler I actually really want to bring a Volvo T6 R Design or a Polestar to a cruise one day, they are actually quite surprising... Don't get me wrong, still nothing on a modded falcon, but the power feel in a standard T6 R Design feels WAY better than a stock FG... I'm sure I shouldn't have said that, but oh well haha. ..They feel like a Falcon with just a tune does, they just pull harder and feel better than a standard FG with a 76. It's cause they run more boost stock and are lighter.
  2. Yeah you are right mate, Doesn't seem like there's a whole heaps of West Aussies on the forum haha
  3. There's been a whole lot of 'chit chat' and not a lot of 'spotted' stuff in this thread haha. Anyone know who a guy in WA is, FGII G6E turbo with the number plate IWANOW1. There's a handful of cars with the similar number plate , at a auto workshop in cannington on albany highway, between carousel and brian gardners. I also kinda wanna know what the number plates mean haha.
  4. This one seems half decent http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/mindarie/cars-vans-utes/2012-ford-performance-vehicles-f6-fg-mk-ii-grey-6-speed-automatic-sedan/1067003827
  5. Awesome build, in depth and can see you are definitely taking the time to do it right. Very excited to see the end result!
  6. I've actually heard that's the case with the majority of the dealerships. Apparently it's unheard of getting one under about $70K.... Hopefully that isn't the case, their biggest upside was that they were well priced...
  7. Yeah the mid 2000's E55's were farkin horn. 8 pot front brakes I believe! they are a machine. I'd have one over a C(cheap)63 anyday.
  8. BA's have a sh*t time full stop. Depends what he wants to do with it. If he's gonna spend a lot obviously it'll be ok but we all know BA's have their fair share of issues holding any kinda power without spending a fortune. If you can afford the extra mate, jump on a BF. Better gearbox, motor, everything. and for like 1,300 more? I'd definitely go the BF.
  9. Well, whenever it is if I can get a half decent car I'll come. I'm not cruising around in a used car tryna keep up with everyone, I'll see how I go
  10. Thanks Marco They do 8 potters too... Would be keen to see what they are like and how much. They'd look great I bet
  11. On the topic of brakes, everyone mentions XYZ coilovers, but I've barely heard anything about their brakes... Do they make upgrades for Falcons? And are they any good?
  12. Bahaha, not at the time mate. It was a split second decision, either ruin my car and a beautiful black F6 ute, or kerb it hard.... I'm still so shocked that split the windscreen... And I'm even MORE shocked the name stuck
  13. I wont have a Falcon but I could certainly come
  14. Haha I sold my car a while ago matey. The guy messaged me later and said he got the cat fixed and on only 15 psi made 215rwkw more than it put out with the stuffed cat... Unfortunately at the time I just needed to sell my car haha.
  15. Wow, they are old cruises if Dan still had the Envy BA Turbo.
  16. Ah ok... I never got to find out how well the invo's really held up on mine cause my cat shat itself and the car had about half the power it normally did haha.
  17. What tyres are you running? And how well is well
  18. Ah ok. So have you run any semi slicks for the road while having that power?
  19. Good to see cruise pictures from all over the country, good to see everyone's vehicles Glad to see mine got a bit of a preview in there too, cheers Steve
  20. A very informative thread, I like it Can anyone tell me what power a 6235 and a 6466 are good for? I'll have to have a look at specs of the turbo's but what garret is the 6466 in comparison to? and for the OP, as many have mentioned it depends on what you are trying to achieve/how much power you want etc. Just go all out and chuck on a GTX45
  21. Matty was that while you had the 441rwkw? What were the NT05's like for traction? If you really flattened it did it hold on? I was considering them but at the time wanted longevity as well so went for the invo's and was happy, but wanted to know how well the NT05's really worked.
  22. 1+ vote for invo's. I've had Dunlop Sport Maxx (reasonable), ATR 2's, which I found ok, but still expected more. Went the Nitto Invo's and loved them to pieces, I found them not overly noisy, way more grippy than any other street tyre. Definitely would recommend them. Cheapest I found them in perth was 500 a tyre for 245/30/20, or for 550 for 275/30/20. Taleb tyres in sydney were only 275 front and 325 for the rears. Shipped 4 tyres to me in less than a week and awesome price.
  23. Currently, Nay... No falcon for me at the moment unfortunately :( Just drive around in my European luxury cars from work.... Such a shame...
  24. Spotted 2 cars yesterday. Spotted a BF/II Silk XR6 Turbo, 1DRN something I think... Looked stock. Was driving in front of him in a Volvo V40. Was driving on somerville parade where it hits north lake. Also spotted a guy turning from leach onto Winthrop drive in a silver B series ute with black rims, intercooler, made a nice flutter. Had a monsta torque stick on the windscreen, no custom plates.
