Just installed the rip off kompact (vent to atmo) but the $15.00 mini breather gets the cake! It's louder, cheaper and gives a better sound. Might tinker around and see if I can get some different noises.

Just did this mod today in my '09 FG, sooo easy! 5 minute job. 1 bung, 1 mini pod and 1 clamp. Sound difference is very noticeable (pschhh), car runs no differently. Also bought the rip off kompact bov, will try that when it arrives! Thanks for the info guys!

Hi all, new to the site, new to owning a blue badge. I have just purchased an '09 manual fg xr6t. All standard and has the standard stereo system. It sounds stupid but the sound and speakers change quality/sound with gear changes! It seems the front drivers speakers only work in 1st 3rd and 5th but work fine in 2,4,6, weird huh. Just wondering if anyone else has had the same problem as nothing in the car has been altered, cheers
