  3. Hi all, I was wondering if somebody could take a photo or let me know what a Ba typhoon pcm part number is. Reason being I want to flash my Ba xr6 with that calibration. I can reflash the pcm with the ids Thanks
  4. Hi all, When I bought my xrt I found this module in it with no roof mount dvd player (which I assume this module came with). The question I have is it possible to wire this module up to the icc using the 13 pin connection on the side of it. I suspect it may output RGB. If it does I understand that an input for the video is under the ICC near the BEM. I have found some post's on here in regards to pin out of that connection under the ICC. Also wondering if this module wont work would this http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Hot-NBOX-RM-RMVB-MP3-AVI-MPEG-Divx-HDD-HD-TV-USB-SD-Card-Media-Player-Remote-Top-/230845580898?pt=AU_MultiFormatMediaPlayers&hash=item35bf780662 work as it has rgb output. I understand I would have to make the loom up to get it going. Thanks
  5. Do you have dual zone climate control? if you do it sounds like a snapped passenger side blend door shaft or a HIM module issue. If it is a snapped shaft the dash will need to be removed
  6. With the steering shudder try taking the drive belt off and turning the pulley manually until no more air bubbles are evident. Make sure the vehicle has been sitting awhile before you try the bleed procedure... part of the ford tsb. The steering click is normally just a bit of grease between the rack and the crossmember another tsb for the ba & bf Sent from my GT-P5110 using Tapatalk 2
  7. try the wreckers.... a lot cheaper!! I fitted one today to a BF XT Mk1 had the ring but no steering angle sensor...
  8. great to see you have found the cause. Have not heard of the white collar rotating untill now...
  9. hi, I had a similar issue with mine when I got it, it felt like it was surging. Turns out it was the plugs the gap was 1.2mm so put a set of genuine plugs and re-gapped them to .7mm... did a pcm re-calibration for the mags and all good now. I did find the exhaust and inlet manifold bolts a little loose. Hope this helps.
  10. Hi, I'm a ford mechanic and a recently bought a 04 mk2 for 11,900 with the usual leather, dual zone climate and premium sound. A few things I have noticed are the front pads tend to rattle over bumps but I'm sure revised pad slides are out. You will more than likely have a power steering leak either from the high pressure hose or front pump seal - nothing to drastic. Brake shudder is common. Diff bush's in the BA are much tougher then BF but still do wear out but not as quick. Also noticed with auto's the fuel return line rub's through on the auto selector cable... surprised no recall has been issued :|. Bonnet cable's tend to snap but a revised cable is out and sometimes break the fusebox. Sorry about the long post just a few things to look out for nothing that is going to cost an arm or a leg
  11. Hi all, I was wondering if I could use an external amp connected through high level input from the factory sub amp input (see attached image). The inputs I was looking at bridging into are in+ and in- . Also the amp I will be using is a 2 channel and the high level input has 4 wires (I guess two for each channel) would I only need to connect one channel? Thanks,
