  1. What did you paint the wheels with?
  2. I pick-up hot chicks without trying. Career Firefighter.
  3. Any tips on an easy way to change the tranny fluid on 2004, 4 speed auto.
  4. Bad news for you, mine did a similar thing tried to get around it with just a service..... no good had to go for a complete rebuild(clutches burnt out). If this is the case spend some money and get it done properly and upgraded.
  5. Total cost was about $7000 anything that looked a little worn was replaced.
  6. As far as build details go well, will try and remember: F6 P bottom end new from Ford, Head rebuilt including valves, retainers, sleeves and heavier valve springs. Stainless head bolts. Oil pump pressure increased and Braided S/S Turbo oil feed with inline filter. New timing chain and gears, quality gaskets and seals cant remember the name but not cheap crap. Other stuff already there, 660CC injectors high flow fuel pump,Custom large Inter-cooler Larger Flapper valve, Solid boost actuator,Ported waste gate hole, 4 inch dump pipe to cat and then twin 2 1/2 inch, stainless exhaust through out. Trannie rebuilt with higher stall torque converter, shift kit, new gears and clutches, bearings the lot nice and strong. Unable to quote all the Brands but only allowed quality parts to be used. JJM Turboworld (AVO, G&D PerformanceTuning) Dandenong, took care of the rebuild very happy with the result.
  7. Well spent a whole day for the service and tune on the Dyno, runs really well. Made 330 rwkw with 850 nm of torque. Because of the trannie setup and the torque converter had trouble getting a solid read on the curve but got there in the end. Still loads of room to move for more power later but I reckon if you cant get it to the ground without shredding tyres then not alot of use(future fun to come).
  8. Rebuild, well new motor complete. There was some differences between the standard BA T motor and the F6 P short motor, oil pump at the rear, dipstick on the opposite side and some minor shape differences but in all the short motor from Ford was right on the money. Had the head completely rebuilt also, new performance Timing gears and chain and upgraded the Turbo oil feed line with a filter in the system. Spent money on quality parts for the rebuild just to make sure this wont happen again, now going through the running in process before we head back to the Dyno for some fun.
  9. I have a BA that was making 300+ rwkw and has dropped a piston which now requires a complete bottom end rebuild including block, crank, rods, pistons etc. I need a short motor that will handle the power upto 340 rwkw. Trannie has been done already but need to find a short motor at a reasonable price, any suggestions?
