POS though really. I started with an AE86. I'm not interested in a FT86 or BRZ. I would be interested if they built a 4-door hatch with RWD and the 3.5L V6 from the IS350.

Yeah that can happen with poor injector patterns. It makes it very hard to tune also as the AFR in the exhaust is also biased by the poor mixture.

What size are stock injectors. Looks like an exhaust restriction to me.....cat blocked?

You mean Ford doesn't employ electrical engineers to figure this out? The biggest issue I find with Expensive Daewoo and Ford isn't the quality of the product, it's the quality of their service staff. We live in an age when any auto service department is going to have severe trouble employing people on a low wage who have combination of strong deductive, mechanical and electrical skills in order to effectively troubleshoot a problem like this. There is a huge demand for skilled (truly skilled, not just people who can read manuals) in mining, hospital/health and scientific equipment so the auto industry essentially has to make do with what is left. Do you think the most skilled of these techs end up in Expensive Daewoo and Ford? I highly doubt it.

First few issues all sound like a voltage leak somewhere. Cabin space is too small? Seriously? You must be 7" tall.

Anyone got pics of the standard sub (the magnet and any labels), how big is the magnet? How much RMS is provided to the sub? Wondering if this Jaycar driver would be worth it - it's only $39.95 and is 89db/w. Sure it only handles 90w RMS but that is plenty for day to day. http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=CW2196

Rear Springs For Street/circuit Use

by "motorsport" I was talking about their off the shelf springs that suit any car - they are just sold in length, width and rate. Most local supply is Eibach (euro) which is probably the best manufacturer, but Hyperco is popular in the USA. One you adapt to 2.5", or 60mm, or whatever then you can pick and choose any spring rate and swap them in. Plus you would likely get adjustable height platforms. You won't need adjustable dampers if only changing +/- 10% rate. You'll have to check the springs will be trapped at full droop though ! -

What are you referring to here? The 300% local mark-up? Or the fact that cheap Teins (and many other dampers) are pretty horrid but 3 x more expensive ones are quite good? -
Toyota is apparently working on a supercharged version NOT a turbo version. Subaru might make a turbo version but the clearances will be tight since the motor is lower in the chassis than the WRX and that's pretty much where the turbo goes. Subaru only has 10% of production even though they are making the things. They thought it wouldn't be a success so signed an agreement that Toyota had to take 90% of them. That has backfired spectacularly. All the Australian 2012 Toyota stock all sold out last month and the Subaru stock sold out in 2 hours. This car is essentially the exact opposite of a turbo Falcon. (ie. Japanese small car, 2 door, low power, great handling, rigid chassis, high reliability, all about corners and not about straight line stats) For it to even get a luke warm reception on these forums shows it is a very good thing. You definitely wouldn't buy one if you were a bit precious about the size of your little fella. Yes, they need about 30% more power and 50% more torque. Obviously needs forced induction of some sort. If you can get 150rwkw, that is the same as a Falcon with 225rwkw = enough.

Nice brakes and nice sway bar ! But what is between the upper spring seat and the chassis? Is it the factory rubber bush or some kind of solid adapter? If it is the rubber bush then it is likely totally farked and I think you would do well to source a proper 2.5" upper spring mount/hat. P.S. the 600° refers to Fahrenheit not Celsius - so you're both correct. -

The difficult part would be sourcing adapters for the upper and lower spring seats (perches). Companies such as Vorshlag make adapters but obviously are USA focused. They do make a kit for the 2011 Mustang - perhaps you could see if the perches are the same??? The spring are easy to purchase. Just measure the right length and order your desired rate. I purchased Hyperco springs for my Skyline and they were $55 each ($110/pair) for 10" length 275lb/inch + shipping. (Vorshlag appear to be a rip-off for springs !) -

I would adapt the rear suspension platforms and perches to 2.5" ID motorsport springs. Then use Eibach or Hyperco springs off the shelf. You have 2.5" springs on the front with 12kg/mm ? Nice and firm ! -
I'm hoping/praying that 19x9.5" +30 ES 1.1.2 rims fit front and rear on a G6ET. 245/35/19 tyres. Should be super close on the inside front.
