  1. Had many issues. Yes xforce will fit better than the Niz. It's bit of a joke really. Over the diff is ok now. Keep in mind your rear section is 3.5 though isn't it? That 1/2" is a lot back there. But the centre pipe on mine is wrong. And there is absolutely no way they test fitted mine to a car. Impossible. It's all ok now though. After some manipulation by 2 quality shops to get it to fit.
  2. Yep he has done my cars before..... He is the man.
  3. Big thank you to Chris at Best Mufflers for getting my Nizpro exhaust to fit properly. There is no way Nizpro fit every one if these to a car before it goes out like they say. Or they sure as hell didn't do mine. If I ever drive to Melbourne I will show them mine and I think they'll agree. Anyway all sorted now. Thanks Chris http://www.bestmufflers.com
  4. From the pictures here, this is just a replacement hat. Getting rid of the alloy hat that sometimes strips or can break when using a higher tensile bolt. I don't see why the centre diff bush used would be any different as it's obviously in the cradle. Good idea and I'm sure it's far more cost effective than the billet alloy aftermarket hat available.
  5. If I knew what I did now instead of a month ago, I would of gone this cooler over the PW stage 2. The advantage of being 76mm thick instead of process west stage 2 's 90mm thick, but still larger in cubic size, is very appealing to me allowing to fit the 55mm pwr radiator. I am hoping to still fit the 55mm radiator to my car in the future, hoping there will be room to do so. Will have to take some measurements first.
  6. Got to agree. I would spend the extra. Just for the cleanliness of it alone. No extra stuff bolted to the car. I really like to just keep it simple... Instead of adding extra parts to the car unless it's essential. When I buy car parts now, I ask myself, in 6 months time will I wish I just paid that bit more? Answer is always yes, for me anyway.
  7. How long ago Dre? They have newer type cores now. Something to think about which not many people here would, The Plaz 1000hp tube and fin is only 76mm thick. The PW stage 2 is 90mm thick. Although the Plaz is larger in total cubic inches overall. The thinner thickness of the Plaz leaves room to run a larger radiator like the PWR 55mm v8 radiator. Not something many people will care about here... But if you do circuit days most certainly something worth considering.
  8. Cold days are ok. I know my car does not cope on a hot day at Wakefield at all. 3 laps max and the alarms are going off.
  9. I'm not suggesting a side mounted intercoolerBut not on a hot day you don't. These cars don't keep temps under control at the track on a hot day without a bunch of cooling aids.
  10. Thought I'd add, the exhaust isn't that loud at all now, I believe it was the fitment of it was touching on the cradle which resonated the drone through the cabin, as it was really bad, I couldn't understand how you other guys with the Niz exhaust could handle it. Haha Its fitting better now. Still not perfect though, when it's hot and I'm at the lights after doing bit of a 2nd 3rd it slightly vibrates on something. These things are a super tight fit.
  11. Be interested in what you think of the NT01, I'm running the nt05 rear with invo front but am going to the NT01 all round soon. For both track and street duties.
  12. Nice car this one is mate
  13. I did the 2 hangers after the cradle, not the very rear one. Just see what works best for you by pushing it up.
  14. Clamp around the outside. Over the rubber. I will get a pic for you
  15. Not to stop it vibrating, You need to find out what it's hitting on first, is it hitting the floor or the cradle? if it's hitting the cradle, you can pull it towards the floor with hose clamps, put a hose clamp around the hanger then do it up to pull the exhaust up a touch, but if it's hitting the floor this will make it worse obviously.
  16. On 98?
  17. Would love to see a graph of this car, Take a pic of the printout and get it up, I'd love to see the comparison with my stock turbo'd car Spiro tuned. Just curious. I was actually talking to him about your car yesterday when I was there and he said he recently did another that made over 400 on E85. But I don't want to go E85.
  18. Here
  19. 18x8.5 + 30 fronts. 9.5 +38 rears Google "DL86 Gt" he has them.
  20. Yes correct pwr is set and forget, I'm just saying stock exchanger isn't half pwr cost.
  21. ^stock exchanger is $130. You can buy 6 for the cost of the pwr.
  22. Run the one you have. You won't have a problem with it.
  23. Just to be sure we're on the same page here, as pwr do make both. Heat exchanger, runs coolant though it Oil cooler, no coolant Hope that clears it up mate.
  24. The PWR heat exchanger does run both coolant and oil through it. Unlike the factory item it is very high quality. Do not be scared of it milkshaking. A proper oil air trans cooler does not run the coolant through it. Unless you are doing circuit days in summer, run the PWR exchanger mate. It won't let you down
  25. Hmmm... In Sydney, called it a 'tuning house' I could be wrong but if It was who I'm thinking I would say it was done correctly. Any of Sydney's top tuners that do these cars would have done it right.
