My SSL rears with tow bar is 345mm. I had SSSL rear originally but I loaded the car up and went away, they never came back up. Was around 330mm. They gave me a new set and I went SSL.

If it was me, I'd just go and buy a used FG XR6T complete engine off ebay. Heaps on there. At 315rwkw it will be fine. For example there is one on there now with 35,000km and out of a 2013 car. http://m.ebay.com.au/itm/321618971570?nav=SEARCH Won't be a problem at the power you have.

Yes. Serious. Sway bars do not affect the ride quality. Your not going to put them on the hard setting and think 'oh that's to hard' they are only loaded up on a corner. Yeah, The holes closest to the sway bar D bush mounting brackets are the stiff setting. On the street my opinion from what I have tried is the hard setting all round was best. Just on the track it made the rear very unstable under braking and produced more over steer. Make sure you do those front endlink nuts up very tight with a good long spanner, there is a lot of load on the front links when coming into a driveway on an angle and it can crack them loose if not done properly.- 19 replies

Run my front max hard and rear soft. Feels better on the street with the rear on the hard setting . But, at the track the rear is very unstable on hard. If your only driving on the street put them both on hard.- 19 replies

Work Kiwami wheels. The 295 will look seriously tough! And if you don't mind playing about to get them to fit I'd say go for it. Even with my 275 R888 it looked a lot fatter than with my current 275 RS3 or my NT05s. They measured in at exactly 275mm so maybe the others were smaller.
-
They sat right in line with it. They never hit once. And the car also did some laps at Wakefield with them on.
-
My wheels are 18x9.5 + 38. If you get wheels from Japan go through Perfectrun.com.jp. They are fast and easy to deal with. I got mine through them. I have no gaurd rolling on SSL rears. A 275 R888 will outperform a 305 invo. Here is the 275 R888 when it was on.
-
Yes 19" is very limited. Being a Motorsport tyre, not many people will run a 19" circuit racing. That's why I said ideally you want an 18 with a 275. It fits with zero mods with the correct offset. Being he has a 9.5" wheel. An 18 would let the correct tyre size be used.
-
Nope, I had a 275 R888 on my 18x9.5. No problems at all
-
Not sure. The RS3 won the latest motor mag tyre shootout. And is one of the most used street/circuit tyres around. I have them on the rear. I went from wheel spinning a 275 NT05 through 2nd. To zero wheelspin with an R888 that was used on the markers, now new RS3 on the rear. Can't get it to spin at all. I am however making 100rwkw less than you! You won't regret either the RS3 or R888 Edit: just get the 888. Nizpro tuned 450rwkw means you can afford the best tyre. Haha

Bargain! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/275-35-19-2753519-95W-HANKOOK-VENTUS-RS3-Z222-EXTREME-PERFORMANCE-TYRES-/251799933853?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3aa072139d

Ideally, you would have an 18" rim and run the 275 R888. Agree that the NT05 are not even in the same league as an R888. Another very good option is the Hankook RS3. Comes in a 275/35/19. 19" kind of kills your choices for these kind of tyres. R888 > RS3 > NT05. And I'd say the RS3 is a fair amount ahead of the NT05
-
Most wheels will have it stamped on the inside.
-
Yes they can fit. I'd recommend the Toyo R888 in a 295/30/19 Just ask 'Rednose', he'll tell you how good they are.
-
Agree with Z2TT. Expect to pay around 10-15K more for an F6 with same km and year. For example if I had to sell my car I'd want around 30k. It's 2011, has 40,000km on it. Has had at least 15k spent on it. Brakes, suspension, wheels, power. An extra 15k is a lot. I would want as new and as low km you can afford.

Mine is all sorted now. Did a circuit day at Wakefield last week and it no longer hits when hot. So happy with that. I am not having trouble with my V-bands yet. Yeah they are not Nyloc. Don't think Nyloc would be very good on exhaust. If they are still coming loose, go get some more nuts and try locking 2 together. Or, call Nizpro. I have actually found they are very helpful. See what they recommend.
-
285 invo should be ok. Invo are slightly small for the size. I know a guy with a 285 Hankook RS3 on the rear with the same offset and size we run. It did hit on his car very slightly only at the track and on the inside on the arm. Also the RS3 is a large tyre for the size so I'm told.
-
I have run the NT05 before. If you don't have an exhaust you WILL know they are on the car. I put them on the rear as my previous tyre and could feel them straight away. Previous car had them all round and they got pretty noisy. There is no 285 option for the invo?
-
I'm only around 5 seconds slower. Hahaha
-
Haha must of been Nelsonian101 from here he was talking about. He's real fast. I was there on Thursday. Nelsonian was there a few weeks ago, would of been him.
-
Had 2 tuners tell me not to worry. I have full Nizpro exhaust as well. Had no issues with my car. Was told the small turbo won't make the boost to be a problem.
-
XR turbo is fine with full exhaust without doing the port/flapper. The bigger F6 turbo does need it.
-
My nizpro quieted down a bit for sure. Was at Wakefield last week, come into the pits and the tips are 2" longer! Haha. And gold now. Mine is finally all sorted and doesn't hit. You need to put any extra hangers in the middle anywhere Jim? Or it's ok without them?
