  1. You can do it 100% on the Internet, no need to even go in anymore.
  2. I'm on SSL/SSL combo, had Heasman Steering shim the front. He said no need to do anything with the rear for camber correction.
  3. I personally prefer cloth, In my opinion I actually think it looks better, Is more comfortable lasts alot longer. Oh yeah, and is lighter. ha
  4. Not hard at all.
  5. Very nice, Top welding skills too...
  6. Yeah, and I have both out on the floor in the pic just for practice.
  7. Put my Koni in.
  8. Wasnt me, im in Sydney
  9. I painted mine recently, but I am a spray painter. Did them in a 2 pack black with a flattening base in the paint to dull it off. I didn't plastidip because I'm pretty fussy and I wanted them to look 100%. But also in saying that, it cost me nothing but would cost around $200-$250 a wheel to have done professionally.
  10. At the very beginning of the year, Pat mentioned to me the same guys were still at the old shop. Different name or owners though. This may no longer still be the case. I'm sure he'll chime in and let you know.
  11. I recently went from a 2010 Mazda MPS that had a bit done with a tune making 215KW atw. Im liking the XR way more, and stock kills my MPS at the drags. But, in saying that, enjoy your new car I hope you are enjoying it!
  12. "Piano Black" is just a fancy name for a gloss black. Im sure you'd be fine painting any interior trims a 2 pack black as far as colours match goes. I just painted an FG F6 last week with a new front bar, and I couldn't even get a specific code or formula for the panda eye sections in our database let alone the interior trims...
  13. Should be fine. As you only need to put colour over the repaired section not the whole boot. So you are blending into the boot itself, then only clearing the whole boot. Obviously the holes are near the edge of the boot next to the qtr's, but that doesn't mean you colour the whole edge. Hope that makes sense.
  14. No Subaru can run a 12.6 stock.
  15. I always say, buy the newest, with lowest KM you can afford...
  16. I've worked in smash repairs and restoration shops for 15 years.... The holes can most definitely be welded up easily without distorting the boot if you get the right guy on the job. But, as others have said. You may just find it cheaper to get a new boot lid or even better a 2nd hand one the same colour.
  17. ^perfect. Thank you.
  18. Yep, I have seen a pic of the X3, it has 3000AU written on it so it must be an AUS model. We aren't talking about if it will work or not. But how to check if it will work once I have it in my hands before paying for it. I would not risk it otherwise. He is only a couple of suburbs from me and we are talking a saving of about $500 in my case. Which pays for my 60lb injectors.
  19. ^ It wont be the same one mate... The one im going to look at is unadvertised.
  20. Haha. Fair enough! But the price isn't actually confirmed yet, but I know its going cheap. All I need to know is how I check its unmarried. Plugged in my car, his car? If it has one unlock left, does that mean I can still have it tuned on my car unlimited times? But never sell it. Cause I'm fine with that. Thanks.
  21. No need for smart assed comments, I am near the owner of it and would only buy it after checking it. If I couldn't check it I wouldn't buy it. He has an F6 returned to stock. With many other bits for sale too. But cheers for the unconstructive comment.
  22. Cheap.
  23. Hi guys, I've come across a used x3. He tells me it has 1 tune left? I'm assuming he means 1 unlock? I will be checking the X3 before buying it. How do I go about checking its unmarried and an Aus unit for a Fg? Thank you in advanced!
  24. I know the tuner I spoke to, enquiring about a setup making around 280rwkw, recommended the 60lbs for that setup, so I can't imagine they would be good for 400.
  25. Another perfect example is the Turbosmart Eboost 2 boost controller, australian made and owned yet cheaper for me to buy from the US for my last car.
