    Coffee

Yep, top thread! I recently started looking into what it would take to do quality coffee at home, we went from percolated to a cheap machine, and the machine is much better, I just buy Belaroma beans straight from the Belaroma shop, and have them grind the beans for me. Cause even those good grinders are f*cking expensive!
  2. yeah the Rapid requires a fair bit of cutting, The PW F6 also made 455rwkw on E85. On the same stepped cooler, It is obviously very high quality gear. Anyway, I think you made the right choice.
  3. Pretty sure about $1500 with pipes or $1000 without. The PW F6 is making high 300s with one.
  4. look forward to pics an seeing how the retune goes, That is going to be my cooler of choice down the line.
  5. I spoke to one of Sydneys highly regarded FG XR tuners, he told me , bang for buck, it wasnt worth tune alone, and itd max out the factory injectors almost straight away. He recommended Dump/Cat, Intake, Injectors. would make around the 285rwkw mark. Or, add a cooler, and over 300rwkw...
  6. yes, doesnt the fact that it is less restriction mean that it WILL possibly cause overboost? seems pretty common sense to tune with all the hardware on the car already.
  7. They won't break, I know of some guys who circuit race on some narrowed wheels. As the wheels they needed to run were too wide for that particular car as far as the rule book was concerned. They were cut and re welded.
  8. You could always look into getting some widened. It can be done.
  9. I notice you have a 2010 build? I don't think they are euro 4, but somebody else will know more than me on that.
  10. oh ok, I thought it went euro 4 when the intercooler changed. Mine is June 2011 build. The invoice for the car actually has euro 4 on it, I thought they changed the cooler and the cat and the restriction ring all at the same time. But obviously not then. Thanks Jimmy! yeah I was pretty shocked when I picked up the slip, that's for sure.
  11. ^ the intercooler has plastic end tanks.
  12. It is you.
  13. ^When a lot of XR owners need to add wheels to that price it adds up quickly.
  14. PhatF6, What 60ft were you doing? I also pull the spare and tools out of the boot, have 1/3 tank of fuel and run some Nulon octane booster, I'm not sure if that makes much if any difference though. At least I know it wont ping.
  15. Yes it works in the XR
  16. The Process West F6 has the stage 1 cooler on it. It ran an 11.2 @ 131MPH the other night with a soft launch. Car makes about 385rwkw on 98. I dare say its enough for the most of us.
  17. Thanks mate, yeah he was there, his tailshaft let go directly behind me in the staging lane! Can't remember what he ran. Check the Process west FB page, its on there.
  18. No, I bought it under a year old with 10,000km on it. Was originally a Ford owned car driven by one of their executives in Vic. Then shipped to a dealership in Port Macquarie, where I bought it from.
  19. Yes my car is a Euro 4.
  20. Just flicked it over to performance, and let it take care of the shifting.
  21. That is a 2.0 60ft. 1.7 is the reaction time as I was stalling it up on the line to around 2000rpm. Tyres were at 32psi, I let them down to 25psi after that, and think it made it harder. No burnout either.
  22. Other 3 runs were terrible! 2.3-2.5 60ft! Was trying to give it a bit more off the line but it just spun or tramped a bit. Was still doing 110mph though.
  23. Here is the slip,
  24. Thanks mate, yeah she's auto
  25. Ran the FG XR6T last night at WSID. Ran a super impressive 12.65 @ 113mph on my first run for the night. Car is 100% stock apart from the King springs and Koni red shocks, still got the factory air filter. Even on 3/4 worn factory Dulops. It's hard to believe these cars can do that sort of time stock. Gotta be the best bang for buck accelerating car you can buy. Will post slip up later.
