  1. I had thought of that. But they will be staggered and I was doubtful of the spare even fitting over the bigger PBR rears.
  2. I take my car away with my son, so I really need a spare, I wouldn't risk being stuck on the freeway with an unrepairable tyre. Although ever in my life have I even had to put a spare on. Better safe than sorry. Yeah preferably I'd go with the 18" BA wheel. Thanks guys.
  3. Found my answer, looks like I need to hunt down a cheap gutter rashed fpv wheel.
  4. Hey guys, so I have some brembos here waiting to go on, just waiting for my wheels to turn up from japan. I had just realised that I'm sure my space saver wheel will not clear the brakes... So what are you guys who upgraded to a brembo setup using as a spare? Buy 5 wheels? Does an FPV come with a full size wheel or a different space saver that will clear? Thanks
  5. I'm a fan of white, but buying my car used, couldn't find a white car at the time that met what I wanted
  6. Just cleaned my engine bay up.
  7. Easiest way, pull the fronts out of car, take them to pedders and get them to swap the springs over for you. Cost about $60.
  8. I have worked in smash repairs for 15 years as a painter, I would have zero problems taking the plastic cross section out on an fg, and I have spoken to a lot of top panel beaters about this, but the problem with removing the whole reo on your car like you have, is that if you get a hit from the front side on, the rails will not be braced together, even removing it like you have, your weakining that side front on support, in a case of a decent hit, the rails won't move across together, you will probably just buckle the bar reo in the middle. Cars have that brace between the rails for a reason.
  9. I think both those intakes are far from factory looking, with their sheet metal lids. The Herrod air intake would be the most factory style looking of the bunch.
  10. You can get it off still. There is actual tools specifically made to do what you need. Most serious tyre place should be able to get it off still.
  11. Went down to Northern Beaches Wheel and Tyre in Brookvale today, got some new Invos all round. These guys were super easy to deal with, awesome pricing, and close to my house so can't lose. This is my first go with the Invos and so far do good. Anybody on the northern side of the city I would highly recommend these guys.
  12. Maybe we can line them up next to each other. Just give me a couple of second start on you! You'll come past pretty quick. Haha
  13. Haha. I'll be putting some Invos on soon. I might go back we'll see. I saw the video of your car before I saw this thread and realised it was you. That car would be my favourite car on the forum now. So impressive. Hope it keeps going well for you!
  14. well done. this car is awesome. simple as that. I love the stock look of the car and the way its been done. it shows that the majority of us do not need turbo side intakes and intercoolers that require cutting. A true 10 second daily streeter. Just another reason why these cars a so good.
  15. Here you go right here. Stock euro 4 cat!
  16. As a spray painter I can tell you this is normal. Without going and checking my car, they should be a beige type colour in there. And the sealer should be white. But without seeing the car it's hard to say. A good shop will replicate the way it looked from factory making it extremely hard to tell for somebody else. Lye under the rear and have a look under there also.
  17. Euro 4 cat on the 2011 upwards is much bigger
  18. I have also been told by one of the highest regarded XR6T tuners/ part manufacturers in the country, that the euro 4 cat is no problem at all on a 300rwkw car. But, the restriction ring must be removed.
  19. Wow! I did not personally like this cars look with the old wheels. But mate! That is perfect now. Well done!
  20. I work in a smash repairs. Mate, that is going to cost alot. I wouldn't even consider fixing it if you are to pay somebody to repair it.
  21. Bastard! haha. good work mate! these cars are very fast stock, Yep you took .1s off my 60ft time. Guess ill have to be happy with highest mph? hahaha
  22. Mate, I am a painter, if you don't want to be able too see it was there anymore, you need to paint the whole bonnet. No way around it.
  23. Thanks mate! Unfortunately for circuit stuff, my car is a ZF auto, so I don't think it can take too much at a track day, but I'm keen to have some fun and learn to drive properly!
  24. Nelsonian, what track days do you usually attend? I'm also in Sydney, would like to do some casual track stuff too.
  25. That grey XR lives around the corner from me. That car is some serious dollars! Ex origanal V8 supercar front bar etc.
