  1. My nizpro system is doing the exact same at the moment mate. Or, I get it to not hit, then it heats up, grows and hits again. Haha
  2. Or can use some hose clamps around the rubbers, can lift it to exactly where you want that way.
  3. Agree 100%. I don't think it's out of the question on e85. Very very high end though.
  4. +1 for 4" with twin tips. Not an xforce though. Very tight fit.
  5. He has the nizpro cooler.
  6. I saw this on Xtremes Facebook too. People get way too caught up in the number. It's on e85. We don't race dyno figres, well, some try to. Haha. Best way you can see how strong it really is, is to run it at the drags. XFTs cars usually run the numbers. Here is his graph
  7. Thanks mate, no chance of E85 though. Haha If I ever need that extra bit ill go GTX3576 instead.
  8. Yeah I'll just see how she goes over time. I haven't had it on the freeway so won't know till then. Think I would prefer put the valve on than cover my floor with dynamat. Even though you can't see it.
  9. engine bay.... I love the black intercooler,
  10. Yeah I have been getting comments on how good it sounds. It does need a few further tweaks, it really is a massive exhaust and it slightly hits the cradle at the moment. Also, it slightly drones with the zf as you now hear the gear changes and the car almost drives around in 6th gear most the time. Worst case, I will buy the valve and put it in as I have a 3yo I take away in the car and it might be worse in the back seat. I'll see how we go, it might get a touch better as it carbons up a little over time.
  11. Looks as good as it sounds
  12. Don't forget the car had a few parts bolted on already when I delivered the car. They had to finish the rest for me. The figures mean little to me. The car feels strong as. And so smooth. I took a few guys for runs in it from work yesterday, one with a modded S15. They were all super impressed, and could not believe how smooth it is. It feels better than I had expected.
  13. They did say they were not around to say anything about it and we would see lots of it. I'd say your correct.
  14. Yes true if manual.
  15. Fg with 313 should run 11s
  16. I have run a 1.13 around there, keep in mind I am quite new to this so I am hoping next year I can get that down a bit more, one of the other guys here is down to a low 1.08.
  17. SSL springs front and rear, the car did have a couple of parts already bolted on when they did the before run. My guess is with the stock tune it didn't work well. Car has run 12.6 stock at 113mph so I don't think it was lacking power stock. Stock wastegate and actuator, I don't have boost graph. Didn't actually ask what boost either. I know Spiro was happy with how it came up. That's all that matters to me.
  18. Thanks guys, I'm really happy with where the car is at at the moment, With the brakes, wheels, Koni shocks, whiteline sway bars and the power now, it does it all so well on the street now. I won't get back to Wakefield until next year and I'm not really interested in E85. I just want it simple. I will eventually get it back to the drags but I'm in no rush. Yep I'm more interested in circuit days at the moment. It's going to be a lot harder to drive there out of corners now. I will step the tyres up a bit though.
  19. Got my car tuned by Spiro at Autotech Engineering yesterday, It made 322rwkw and feels strong. Also had the ZF tune done which he has done a great job with. Feels awesome. Parts list is, Black Process West stage 2 intercooler. Nizpro 4" full exhaust, KPM Streetfighter airbox, KPM 1000cc injectors, KPM Walbro 460 fuel module, Plazmaman intake muffler delete. Here is a couple of pictures of the car.
  20. All cars will vary slightly, depending on the batch of paint they were done from the factory. As for remixing, different brands of paint will vary the colour as well. They all use different tinters. For example, Glasurits straight white tinter will be different to PPG, so they have different formulas for what is the same colour. Could also depend on if the paint machine at the shop is stirred regularly enough. There is prob 4 different variants of that colour in the same paint code. For example when we paint a car, we find the closest variant then match it from there. Rarely I would paint a white panel straight from the formula without extra colour matching. I would just go and get some paint mixed up from your paint code. Best bet would be to get a bit of 2 pack paint from a smash repairer and a bit of hardener to go with it. So you can mix them and brush touch as you need. This way the whole lot won't go hard. Or try a proper trade smash repair supplier, but I have no idea who is in your area. Also I believe the code is A1 winter white. Not arctic.
  21. Yep I remember this one from the last time around. What is actually wrong with the car? Tuning problems or mechanical?
  22. Plazmaman stuff is tube and fin, and you do seem to see lots of Plaz stuff on race cars. Maybe because they do custom stuff.
  23. I'd say $500 is fair.
  24. About to order a throttle body elbow Monday. I will need mine next week so prob can't wait for it to happen here They are cheap anyway though.
  25. Does look better.
