  3. question: does anyone have an xr8 bonnet they dnt want and how much??...also ive realised when driving car is perfect but under take off say a u turn if the revs drop off below 1300-1400rpm its got a rattle/grind noise coming from the back...any ideason what might be causing it??
  4. have you driven a 250fwkw car??? alot harder to drive than a rwd car...my mates 350rwkw vy gts is a breeze compared to my pulsar...fighting understeer and torque steer whenever u give it a boot...pissed that its gone but kinda glad in another way...
  5. owned a 250fwkw pulsar before the falcon...got written off because ppl dnt know how to look right when leaving a driveway -_-...was highly illegal being on p plates but made it as stealth as I cud running the turbo inside a custom box that looked like a cai all piping black and plumbed back bov to keep it quiet...

  7. hey all I know its awhile off yet as im on my p's for 9months still but I plan to trade in my bf mk1 xr6 for a bf m2 xr6t tge second I get my fulls...im chasing the 300rwkw+ mark anything over 300 is a bonus...just curious as to what mods am I looking at to get there so far I have zorst up the boost (to whatever is necessary) uprgrade the fuel pump and injectors and slap on a tune...any other inputs that will see me reach my goal??

  10. okay so lookin over a few things deffinantly reverting back to the f6 idea...I want the 500ponies but if I happen to land close enough to it ill be happy eg 450+ I wont bother trying to push more...comparing a couple of places on costs has come back to around $10k mark which im still happy with still a good price for the power ill be getting...and im more than happy to spend the extea cash on a f6 than deal with wiring issues again (my n15 pulsar 1.6l to 2.0l conversion...so many dramas with wiring and ecu problems) not going to do my head in on that :/...
  11. oh really...damn I know I went through hell with wiring the sr20 into my sedan...absolute nightmare...think I might just stick with the sell and trade up
  12. ahaha yeah just not sure on what to do...if I buy a xr6t/f6 motor put in bigger injectors ...bigger fuel pump, high flow the turbo or replace it with a garrett 35/40, 4" exhaust and tune...or do the same to an f6...just a matter on how much it will cost...and what needs to be changed...eg wiring loom ecu?? what needs to be done
  13. I plan to keep the n/a complete stocker until I get off my p's...then its the choice between sleeper xr6 or stick with the plan of sell and trade up
  14. a new thought comes to mind...intention was to sell and trade up to a bf f6 and mod the engine to reach 500rwhp...but to buy one still looking at 25-30k then about another $5k on mods...what if I buy an f6/xr6t motor build to the 500rwhp and dunk it in the standard xr6 and make a sleeper considering I already have a very clean reliable starting point...will save some major dough and still have the fast car I want minus the f6 bodykit???...anybody on here know what the motors are selling for and what on my car needs to be changed to accomodate the t motor??

Yeah that's the idea simple mods for a bit of a difference now but nothing that will effect the re sale...has 150,000kms so not to bad...I know that in 9months with the condition its in now and after the service, rocker cover gasket replacement and 2 brand new engine mounts I can make an easy $8000 sale when I trade up if not a little bit more
