I'm looking at a 2006 BF Typhoon. It looks fantastic, brake upgrade, full FPV service log. However, it has 150,000kms. Is this to high? Or will the only trouble I be looking at is resale in the future when it creeps towards 200xxx...

Wow we need some serious proof about the BF engine. So many different stories.

I got a sh*tty offer for trade in due to some hail damage, that would not of bothered me but he wouldn't budge on price. He acted like 15grand would cover a service, detail, broken fog light and warranty. That was his excuse when I told him it was over priced. I didn't even try to low ball the shunt, told him I would call him the next day but I didn't. Going to not bother trading in, just sell my Liberty private and buy private... Ahahaha, absolute shunts. I've dealt with one decent bloke who offered me more then what I was expecting and cut me a good deal. Lets see how this time goes.

Not at all, I'm just off my P's and this will be my first 'fast' car. Going to a dealer and trying to get a trade in, I will just pick the car to shreds ayes.

BTW, thanks heaps for this guys/. Another thing, it has 132,000 kms, leather and premium audio would I be pushing it to aim for $12,500?

So start it up then turn it off, check under the hood to see if the turbos noisy? To easy.

I'm going to look at a 05 BA mk2 manual with 130,000ks. What are some things I should look for such as tell tale signs of problems etc. Thanks guys
