And HPF have won it several times.... I believe they achieved the goal again this year, with a 1260 kW effort..... only to have the winning car burst into flames..... a very costly disaster in itself, but more than that, it would also be an emotional rollercoaster ride.... Yes so true. If you give a Mclearn F1 a head start from 0 to 120mp/h on to 200mp/h and the Veyron takes of when the maca hits 120 it will still beat it from stan still to 200 mp/h. Amazing!!

Bugatti are selling them for $1600000 each and are taking a loss of $4000000 on each car. It is said that Bugatti built it simply to see if it could be done. They got F1 help on the cars aero but after 360 km/h the F1 boys said you’re on your own. You see even if a company wanted to build a car to beat the Veyron (and they would have to beat it or their would be no point) they would be faced with the herculean task of the basic research that would have to go into building a car like that. It would have to be an exercise based purely on status and nothing more. The task of keeping 1888Kg on the ground at 400km/h is a tough job I mean a 767 will lift at 300 km/h and be air bound. In addition for ever 1 km/h after 360 km/h an additional 10 HP is needed, that’s easy said then done when cooling starts to became an issue. The Veyron has 6 radiators and two intercoolers, can you image the gearbox and diff heat of the oils alone so its not just as easy as more power = more speed. In this case more power and torque = more heat. Any way I just thought I might share that with you and get your thoughts on it.

If a software application is not written in duel core code your second core is not even being used. That’s what I have recently been informed of. But again just like the PCI Express the whole point of getting a AMD is for its 64Bit compatibility cupelled with is duel core technology it makes for a great CPU for future upgrades, you know when software catches up. Yhea it’s all cool and stuff, but mate that’s just pure abuse of your car and if the wrong people see that stuff on this forum could give us a bad name. Maybe no speed signs next time a? Those T5’s and the diff’s won’t take that sort of punishment for to long.

They say the stock Brembos on the Phoon really dont match the GTP's for power and bite. They also mention that the new 19" wheel and tyer package iron out some front end issues that the Phoon had and now it handels a bit sweater. Now I just have to work out how other people can afford to owen a car like the Phoon, once I work that out I can go and buy my self a Tuffphoon. Man I want one BAD.

Ok it really could be alot of things. for example it could be a simple thing like XP Pro Firewall conflicting with your 2nd PC. Could be auto update config on your software like windows update or an anti virus update searching on line. In all honestly it would be a very hard thing to try and fix in this manner. You really need someone that knows what there doing to sit in front of your network and have a play. Im pretty sure you will find that it is some sort of defult setting with a peice of software your running, if you say it was working fine before you reinstalled XP Pro then its probably a setting with XP Pro . Try turning of the firewall as a test and also disconect from the internet to isolate the problem. (you know make sure its not trying to find an internet site that dose not exist. Sorry mate other than that small bit of info there will really be not alot more I will be able to suggest with out being there or spending 10hrs online typing to each other.. Good luck

I’m doing a diploma in network engineering at the moment I might be able to help. Firstly WOW it could be so many things, ok um what O/S are you running on both PCs? I need more info on you LAN cable is it a cross over cable or a straight through cable (twisted pair). Is the LAN cable plugged into a switch or is it a duel port modem. Look now that I read your post again I simply need more info tell me all that you can about your network. Cabling, Modem, Switches, O/S, software installed on both PCs including anti virus and additional fire wall protection is XP Pro on both machines.
