It’s all about mile per hour, I would be happy in knowing my car runs a lazy 12.3 if it can’t crack a solid 125 Mph. When and only when someone gets really serious about cracking some good numbers with a manual, then you will see some times. EG: Increased RPM, or diff ratio change, slicks, rip shift and a lightened car. Until then it is fair to say that a 400 odd RWKW manual XR6T or Phoony is capable of anything from 12.5 to 11.99 not much faster. Your thoughts?

I cant see Ford or FPV doing any major updates to there current line up in the next 6 to 12 month. If you are intrested there are 3 BA F6 Typhoon run outs here in S.A for $48000 drive away one has 5 Kms on the clock. I had a look at them on Saturday and tell you what bargin of the decade almost $20000 off a new one. Tough car!

Hi guys, a friend of mine has asked me for a little advice on his next new car. He currently drives an AU T3 TS50 and is looking at getting into ether a manual BF XR6T with some nice options or a run out BA Typhoon. Both cars are coming in at around the same price and his not sure what to do, given his position im not sure what I would do ether so your advice would be helpful He dose wish to consider resale of both cars, which will be easier to sell, which will be more desirable and what car will hold its value more. I would normally suggest calling four dealers and get them biding for your business (Try Melbourne) but in the Typhoons case it may be a little difficult Ford don’t need to discount them at the moment especially while you can still get run out BA Phoonys. If you are interested, here in Adelaide there are two BA Phoons run out for $52000 plus on roads, however I recon you could screw them for the Brembo upgrade as they have been in the dealer for two months now (Maughan Thiem Ford Port Adelaide) and I think they want them gone.

Its an F6 Typhoon and it is currently the fastest F6 and XR6T manual in Australia covering the quarter mile in just 12.03sec's. It makes 380rwkW's and has peaked at 430RWKW. It has a standard Nizpro Cobra Stage 2 kit plus a hi-volume fuel pump, Nizpro steel billet flywheel and heavy duty clutch. Sorry champ cant find the MPH you would think it be around 115 120 ish.
