I dont mean like gutted as in the standerd cat. I mean it such a good hige flow cat $650 worth that it may has well be... Get it!! Like id gutt a cat on a brand new $60000 car, please!

Spoke to Simon this afternoon. Car pulled 220RWKW stock! Iam very happy with that. I have decided that I will leave the car with these mods for now. If I even get a slight twitch in the neck one morning as iam getting in it, I will upgrade straight to a full system, Nizpro stage two kit and turbo mods in one hit. Just tune it to a nice respectable 375RWKW. Now that should keep me happy for good. But for now 300RWKW's is more then enough power, I simply have never owned a car with that sort of grunt before so I will just wait and see.

Well looks like the Phoon is going in for the following mod. Injectors Cat Custom tune Will hope for around 300RWKW. My question to you guys is how consistent can I expect the power and torque of the motor to be once iam driving the car on a day to day basis. Will the standard cooler be ok or could I expect to lose power and torque in hotter wether or bumper to bumper traffic? Also do you guys think my 6 speed auto will be ok with 300RWKWs? Yhea not sure whats going on. Car seems good up top but just real laggy down low. Maybe turbo blots or manifold bolts? Not sure, will take it back to dealer and see what the go is.

I have checked all the hoses very carefully, the factory clamps are sh*t and dot seam to get much tension on the hoses. Yhea not really sure what else to check.

Hi guys, my new BFII Typhoon last night when driving developed a loud spooling noise which caused it to lose torque and power. When I back off it makes a loud blow off noise like an after market BOV. I have had a search on the forum and have checked all the hoses apart from the one that is located behind the driver’s side light as Iam not sure how to get to it but from a pull and a tug it seams to be ok. In short the car is not boosting correctly. Any ideas as to what might be causing this? The car has 1000kms on the clock and is stock. Help please.

Interesting. Where is he located now? How does he get that much power out of the F6? What upgrade would I get for my $1800? Certainly does sound like extremely good value for money. Maybe I will go down and have a look, does he have a web page? Thanks

Dose Bruce have a work shop now? Last time I was dealing with him he was just working out of his back yard. To be honest I was not that impressed with his service or workman ship. But thanks for your thoughts mate.

Hi guys; well the Typhoon will be getting picked up tonight and iam already thinking about mods. Going to Melbourne to see Nizpro is still an option but after looking at what KPM has to offer I may just get it tuned here, not sure yet. At this stage iam thinking of the following mods Car is a 6 speed auto BFII Typhoon 3.5 inch dump and high flow cat combo 59lb injectors Custom edit tune. I have worked out I could get this work done locally for around $2700 bucks. What sort of power should I expect from a KPM tune? I hope for around the 320RWKW mark. Any suggestions and advice would be sweet as, should I do the dump and cat or just injectors and tune? really do want over 300 at the wheels not just you know 298.5 or something like that. Red Demo with 5000ks on the clock. Just wanted to make sure that I did not want the manual. I really believed the man box is for purest but the car is just so much better as an auto I just could not go through with it after spending some more time with the auto.

53K for a demo is not to bad really man. I used to work for Jarvis selling these things so I really felt confident negotiating on a new one. I think your price is good, well done. especially from Jarvis. As for who will do the work, unsure yet. I may take a quick trip to Melbourne to see Nizpro but will see. Who did you go to and how much did you pay? Are you happy with th results? The cruse sounds awesome man will hope to be there.

My brother is going to buy a brand new Typhoon or XR6 Turbo in the next two weeks, just wondering what sort of drive away price do you think he should be paying at the moment considering the BF is an aging model and the new one is just around the corner? What’s a good deal? In Typhoon his looking for 19 inch wheels ( The Black ones) and Leather In Xr6 T he only wants Leather and what ever else they are pacaging at the moment seems fine.
