  1. Do you have a phone number / address? Thanks
  2. That’s funny is it? Look its going to get the service, and if it still plays up I will need to look at my other options. The problem is I don’t know of anyone in S.A that knows how to strengthen them up.
  3. What sort of cost is involved in beefing them up, what is done to the trans? My service is high due to the full system flush which needs twice as much oil.
  4. Well guys the F6 is in for a transmition service. It’s a BFII Typhoon running a ZF and its done 20000kms on the factory oil. It has started to flair out on the 2nd to 3rd shift at WOT in performance mode. When shifting it manually it really is a hell of a lot better due to higher line pressure. I decided to use the factory oil with a pan change and a full system flush. I get the car back later today and I am sure it will make a difference. Cost for this service, $900. In all honesty these ZF 6 speeds are a great auto no doubt, but they really can’t handle 300 + RWKW’s very well. Until they crack the software for them so we can up the line pressure and avoid clutch pack slip. I am afraid that costly services are your only option if you want to keep them performing relatively well and avoid a big failure. Truth is, we really know very little about these box’s and until someone takes it upon them self’s to ether beef them up hydraulically or we get our hands on some software I think a 6 speed manual is the best option for 300 + RWKW. I will keep you guys posted on how it performs when I get it back later today.
  5. I might be in, will let you know.
  6. Thank you very much for your help F6BF.
  7. I have found a trans guy in S.A on good advice from my tunner. He spoke to him today and told me he had done them before. I just need to call him and find out what his thought on the sump are. Price wise he said around $650 to $700 As for a discount on two we may be able to get $50 each off. I will let you know in the next two weeks ok?
  8. Thanks. Why did you have to change it?
  9. Hi guys; I really think I need to service my ZF 6 speed. I was wondering why you need to replace the sump on the ZF when servicing it. Can’t I just flush the box and put new oil in it? How much does the sump cost to replace and is it necessary is my question. Also I think I will just put the factory oil back in it and not the Tranzmax Z. Your thoughts? The reason I think it needs to be serviced is its flaring out in performance mode and seams to be slipping at WOT. In manual mode it does not seam as bad and dose shift fairly well. The car has been modified since 2500kms and now has 18000 on it. The ZF still has the factory oil in it. I have searched the site and have found info on the oil type but not much info on the sump it self. Any advise is appreciated Thanks
  10. This is not true at all. The best tune house in Adelaide is APE on Marion road ( Graham West Workshop ) Brett West is an authorised Nizpro dealer with direct access to Nizpro in Melbourne. He was the first tuner to create an LPG system for the xr6 turbo which is installed on his car. He has two dyno’s and they both work flat out all day, he knows these cars like know one else in S.A. He is also extremely professional and very reasonable, really putting his clients before his own pocket. The problem is you won’t be able to get in with out at least two weeks advanced notice as he is always booked out. No good tuners in Adelaide? Its simple, the real good ones don’t need to advertise, Adelaide is so small that all you need is word of mouth and a good reputation. Now as for the real back yarders in Adelaide well maybe will leave that for another time.
  11. Just go to Nizpro!
  12. Well I have smoked two GTR's both claiming 300 + AWKWs. These were very fast cars, but unless they really lunch them hard, like 7 grand and pop the clutch which they both did not do then they cant catch me. Fast cars yes unbeatable no! They must abuse to win.
  13. I just drove my car to Nizpro from Adelaide for a tune and I’ am so happy with the results. Simon and Nizpro are the real deal, I have never experienced such impeccable service from a tuner or workshop before, in-fact the places I have dealt with can’t even come close to the experience I had with Nizpro. Simon and Nizpro will want to help you solve your concerns, that’s what these guys do. They solve problems that others can’t; they say will find a way instead of running and hiding. Don’t jump the gun friend Nizpro have been around long enough to know when they need to right a wrong or simply work harder to solve a problem.
  14. Well iam sure I will see you around at some stage. For now this weathers killing it, I may as well stay home. Wheeeelll spinnn
  15. Honestly not sure, my work was done as a package. If you have the box and just want a tune I would say it would be around $750 their not the cheapest but Simon has done the Nizpro Seminar and I believe it shows in his work.
  16. I have to go back and see Simon next week so I will find out for sure, but I do recall him saying around 11 -12 pounds, I might be wrong but I will find out for sure when I see him next week Morpowa are fantastic to deal with, so professional really care about their customers and their cars. I was very impressed, I have been in corporate customer service for a while and I have got a good knack for knowing when a company is the real deal. Very happy.
  17. Dyno sheet.
  18. Even a? Well that's sounds like a typical WRX driver to me. He got smoked that's all their is to it. We even ran him 3 times, same results. Truth is most WRX cream boys cant get over the fact that their days are well and truly behind them. You need big bucks in a rex these days to smoke even an edited phoon. WRX's were fun stock, now with 300RWKW's I wont even waist my PULP98 heheh
  19. Well. Its difficult to really explain this car with 300RWKW. Its fast, damm fast. But it delivers the power so smoothly and with such little effort that its almost to useable. Its like you put your foot down and before its even spooling your doing 110kmh. In one way its to fast, in another way its to useable. I feel that in order to really feel the power of the engine you really have to get some speed onboard, but of course that is impossible on the street. I will post the dyno sheet tonight, we got home so late last night that I could not be assed taking a photo etc. Very happy with Morpowa and Simon, boy that guy can tune, my curve just goes straight up and holds, the car just feels like a train. Its not peaky its just real powerful. Must say also the 6 speed auto is shifting a little to slow now, so I will take it back so Simon can have a play with it. 100% final power output = 303.1RWKW
  20. Yes I did and SMOKEYyyy. He told me it was stock, I said no, no friend this is stock. He was sickend!
  21. I will post it as soon as I get it in my hot little hands.
  22. Yhea for now. Do you think its ok?
  23. Yhea for now. Do you think its ok?
