  1. Velocity. that's a good idea il buzz them 2moro and see wat they say F6mark. Thanks bro il give them a call pending my one to cv
  2. oh really? ok then I guess il be booking a retune. The first owner had all the mods done and had it tuned at cv performance in nsw so im not that keen on driving 1000ks away for a touch up tune lol. Is there any reputable capa tuners in bris who can help me out? being too busy I havent really had a good look at the engine bay yet but when I do, is it possible to check injector size on the injector themself? e85 does sound tempting
  3. Hey guys, this has probably been covered before but anyways I just bought a ba mkII xr6t magnet ute a couple days ago, (WOOHOOO!!!) and while I do love the power it puts down, it looks like its putting out more than it should and thought someone could point me in the right direction. These are its mods :- k&n filter fpv cold air intake siemens injectors (not sure on size) upgraded wastegate actuator atomic valve springs 3.5" aps full stainless exhaust process west front mount intercooler capa flash tuner direct clutches semi button clutch bosch 044 and that gives me a modest 327kw at the wheels =) Now for my dilema, It was tuned to 15psi but it keeps spiking between 15 and 20 anywhere between half and WOT and it concerns me as im not keen on spitting a rod or melting pistons. I called up the last owner and he told me it started spiking after he replaced the cat converter as the last one collapsed, but that doesnt sound right. can a cat cause boost spikes? What are my options here? would it be best to take it to a tuner to have a look at its tune or could the wastegate be faulty? I did have an idea to install a boost controller and set to 15 to help control the spike but have read the ecu doesnt like it. Any input would be greatly appreciated!!!
