yeah thought that would be the case since that's when it went the first time.. but when its gone this time I was no where near full lock maybe half turns each way and only reving to maybe 5000 rpm at most.. guna try push for parts warrenty on the pump though eln ford have been far from helpful with any of my other issues but ill give it a shot

hey all I have an fg g6et and seem to be having drama's with power steering. first time it went back to ford under warrenty but now it run out im going to have to sort it out myself, got a whine when steering and when at slow speed in feels like im trying to turn a 1920's truck around.. oil is full and like stated in title was only replaced 3000kms ago so oil should be fine.. in sayin this I am a very spirited drive hahha, any opinions? your help is greatly appreciated

Got stuck into it this weekend fitted cooler and got my grills, fog light surrounds and wheels ready for paint this week.. Decided I'm taking the car to cms now aswell!! All should be done in the next couple weeks Getting a little anxious haha

Held off on the build for a while.. was trying to get an issue sorted by ford under warranty but they have decided to turn down the car at 2 ford dealers due to it being modified.. So ill just have to deal with it down the track and get my box built got it pulled apart and working on it this week. Intercooler going on and while I have the bar of painting the grills and fog light surrounds black and the standard wheels aswell has anyone got any pics with this done? Taking abit of a gamble but think it will look tuff!!

yes im already getting carried away! after getting some knowledge of the power u can get out of these how can one simply leave it stock?? I couldnt help myself.. yeah diff has been fully rebuilt.. all bearings where tight so it was only a matter of time before it would of gave in.. still have a drive line issue though. im 100% sure its in the back of the gearbox but ive been to 2 auto specalists and there wipeing there hands from it.. seem to think its fine.. ive got most of my parts here just waiting until I get this issue sorted out.. have a few weeks left of warranty so need it sorted before I go slapping a cooler and everything to give them even more reason to not give me warranty.. even though they wont look at the issue while it has super pro bush's in it.. just bloody over it hahhaha

Yeah sweet as Mate ill head over and have a look.. Started pulling exhaust and turbo off today god some of those nuts are a *beep*!! Will look at where ill get the flapper and port mod done tomorrow.. Exhaust to go on over the weekend as well

Haha yeah on stands ain't fun at all.. Helps having a good trolly jack makes it easy to balance it coming in and out isn't to bad at all. Worst bloody part is the handbrake cables.. Pulled the hat of the diff and looks like its internal to the truetrac so dropping it off to the local diff bloke.. Fingers crossed but I can see myself needing to fork out for a new truetrac :( Will be pulling exhaust of and front bar off this week for new cooler and x force system. Haha yeah stevanford would love a gtx but funds are restricting me at the moment Yeah cheers anyway ratter for a rapids system on order

Got a rapid systems cooler coming X force exhaust 4 inch dump pipe and 3 1/2 inch system And am yet to order my injectors and fuel pump thing ill be just going 60lbs injectors or possibly 80lbs And will get an intank pump... No surge tank yet Also a new greddy boost controller. Pulled the diff out tonight.. Will pull it apart tomorrow and see what the go is Just hope I won't be up for a new truetrac fingers crossed!!

hey guys owned my g6e turbo for just over a year now.. after buying her I straight away fitted a trutrac and that was it for about 8 months then came plazmaman battery relocation and race air box and 4 inch pipe short after I had a rather damaging date with a gutter on the left rear wheel haha had to pull the rear subframe apart and diff out to change the control arm (ford would of saved me ALOT of time if they had just put the camber adjustment bolt in from the rear not through the front.. but hey that would just be to easy wouldnt it) only to put it all back together and now I have to pull it all apart again cause it seems the diff has excessive backlash fter the hit.. so all in all been having fun in my drive way on stands with this thing of late.. but will get it sorted and back in action.. have alot of parts coming in the next few days to fit before the tune!! getting excited that tax money disapears quickly online shopping for parts that's for sure!!!

haha yes there was a lot of lock to lock action yeah my money is on the pump.. I guess its not really a common problem
