  1. I ended up useing the ball joint ebay ones and there perfect! was a slight knock sound but just had to tighten them, took 10 min to install
  2. id just stick to a cheapie stock looking one on ebay, when there clean with nice clean coolant they look good IMO... also speaking of them ebay cheapies, how good are the alloy radiators?
  3. question, is the piston seal ID supposed to be larger then the piston OD? as I have both parts in my hand and teh seal just slots straight over the piston.....with a gap between
  4. coils......?
  5. ^ same, my 2004 ba xr6t dont have them either. just plain hose. also they look like there the ones from a N/A.
  6. thanks. long story short, aparantly supercheap got the wrong info from the guy (guy at bosch) on the phone about it including the pistons and slides etc. anyway I sourced some pistons as there not hard to find, but the slides were being a massive *beep* to find. however I found one seller on ebay who has them, they can source allot of brake parts. only place I have found that can get the slides. genuine and cheap! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Ford-Territory-Turbo-and-Ghia-Turbo-Front-Caliper-Guide-Pin-Service-Kit-/191209655164?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c84fbcb7c
  7. thanks....do ou know if that includes the slides and slide boots? and pistons? I orded a couple kits through supercheap online and asked them what I included ad hey confirmed to me it had the pistons, piston seals, slides, slide boots.....I asked them twice and they found that info from teh supplier and now hat I have gotten them its only got 2 seals in each kit....lol
  8. well ford dont sell the seals etc...only one right rear caliper at $614........ anywhere else? supercheap has a kit listed on there parts guide for it it says it a major kit.....for $13................wtf
  9. Hi have a BA xrr6t with factory preium front brakes. car has done 250 000k's and so have calipers last time I replaced brake pads one caliper was seized on and took 2 hours to get it loose again....but still worked. so im thinking pof rebuilding them with new seals etc but cannot find anywhere that actually sell the kit for them. I have asked ford and waiting for there reply...otherwise anyone know where I can get the kit cheaply? thanks
  10. where did u get them for $10..? I was quoted 30 ...for 4. I dont have a gasket installed but I will put one there when I have turbo off next. I was told not to use one due to the fact the metals are different in the gasket as to the manifold etc and when hot it shinks/expands etc and will cause studs/bolts to loosen more.....but after all these years and k's its not a bad idea to use one
  11. I have them coils and a few oher members....they work great
  12. 18 psi....wow.........engine still running without a rod out the side? lol
  13. I now can get up to 600 from a tank nmy BA xr6t sedan on the open road.... around town bout the 400-430 mark from a tank.....allot!!!!! beter then it used to do...lol
  14. I used these (was cheaper when I got them) http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1-HEAVY-DUTY-2X-Ford-Falcon-Fairlane-AU-BA-BF-Front-Lower-Ball-Joints-Pair-/360731685316?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item53fd48b1c4&_uhb=1 obviously I cannot comment on logitivity as I dont do many k's compared to what you wpuld do but for me they seem to be going good.
  15. I replaced my lower ball joints with them ebay cheapies and seems to be going fine 25 000k,s later. also I will never use ford bush,s on the lower control arms ever again, super pro all the way!
  16. how the f*ck did you find a tyfoon bf and a fg turbo for under 11 000 each..........u sir win at life....
  17. what are your opinions of cutting the rear muffler off and welding in some hot dogs? would it sounds to droany/sh*t? just looking at options here atm
  18. yeah so I have herd, when I hit the rear muffler theres no noise though only when first starting theres a rattle sound in teh exhaust like rocks or marbals in it. so there was definally a problem with them? pitty I cant find the recipt for it
  19. I have a ba xr6t sedan, standard. it came witha near new xforce car back system, now recently it has started to make a weired noise while acdelerating at 80-90kph lightly. also at idle there is a rattly noise like a bunch or roacks in the exhaust which I have narrowed doe=wn to the rear muffler. I have read that that had problems with them, I have contacted xforce but they cannot do anything about it unless I have a recipt which I dont. so.....I have also come accross a redback exhaust from a ba xr8 sedan which is is great condition. so which is better? kepeing in mind that I dot want stupid power etc I just want a exhaust that sounds ok, if xforce is better ill try and get a new rear muffler for the exrta $$ if not ill get the redback system as there the same xr8 and xr6t?
  20. ^^^^think what hes trying to say is, its the washer fluid needs toping up.. but yeah sounds like battery
  21. step one is to hand $$$ to some other *beep* so then can deal with it.... otherwise WHS^^^
  22. Has anyone used transgold trubo engine mounts? supercheap sell them and I have herd there pretty good for the price. also can get a pair on ebay for under $100 seeing that the turbo side ones fail so regulary and the factory ones dont last long (and cost nearly $200 each!)
  23. hmm im thinking my economy is due to the o2 sensor. I have one of them PEC? ebay ones. they work good as I have them on my commodore. however I have noticed that over a short time on the turbo it seems to harden the wireing where it goes into the sensor (due to teh increased heat). as I have already sent one back to teh seller and he sent me another, and it helped allot! will put in a NTK one soon and see how it goes as that's what ford uses or are teh bosch ones good??
  24. when hot mines at 1.3lph with air con off and 1.6-7 with it on. however when cold its up round bloddy 6-7lph lol im also getting some fumes from exhust but not like its running rich though so could that still be o2 sensor? as econamy has gotton worse lately
  25. I want to replace my spark plugs on my BA xr6t sedan 2004 stock tune (far as I know) I have access to some cheap factory ones (new) but the factory ones have "G" on them meaning there for gas engins. I was told by ford that these plugs are the right ones for my car as they use the same ones. however I have also read countless threads saying that gas cars require a hotter plug and ford used the wrong plugs in the turbos as the ones with "G": were not the correct ones am I ok to assume these plugs are the correct ones for my car? if not what plugs would be? I know the NKG have some been told to avoid bosch and IF champion plugs are anything like there leads I will stand well clear of them!
