  1. I have. Super pro: Front bush's all And rear: Super pro diff bush's Nolthane everywhere else on rear And f*ck me never looking back. Unless u hate a tiny bit of harshness then go stock and replace every year. Yes there can be a slight change in harshness or nvh but that far out weighs the handling and safeness of it
  2. Dam....it shouldn't be out by much if I just do front struts though?? should I replace tear springs..wait a week or 2 for them to settle then get a wheel alignment??
  3. Hi. Ba xr6 turbo. Has the rear adjustments for toe and camber. I got new tyres today and they did a wheel alignment. Was way out. Drives perfect now. Anyway, I'm replacing the rear springs as I have gotten some cheaply there king spring kfrl-68 these are the standard replacement king springs? If I put them on and also replace front struts (not springs) would it effect the alignment at all? The front struts I'm guessing won't but the rear I'm not sure about as it supposed to be same as factory just harder
  4. Have you ever donei before? Can it be dun without removing dash? I've seen it done on commodores where they cut the heater pipe and join it
  5. Does the air con need degassing when replying a ba ford heater core? Is there any way of avoiding it as I just foxed the air con and got it gassed
  6. cant get genuine for a ba shaft though
  7. if there new washers you shoud,nt sand them. I never had any probs with mine and I took it off 3 times and just re installed it without any prbelms. maybe the turbo thread has a slight crack?
  8. hi, in need of replaceing the tail shaft cv jont, the one that connect to the diff. On my BA xr6T sedan. I can get one from a non turbo for next to nothing as I know the guy, are they the same? hardy Spicer lists there replacement ones as being the same from turbo and non turbo. but im not sure about the factory ones
  9. X force should be able to sell the rear one, for my ba xr6t sedan they wanted $255 for just teh rear muffler
  10. when I did mine in my ba xr6T the other week I did the whole 3 times in 5 seconds, but did not work, tried it 5 times, I found that on mine the demised needed pushing 3 times within like 1-2 seconds.
  11. for what its worth, I would buy the e-torx sockets, think of it, 30 bucks and there yours, they come in handy a sh*t loads of time, my mate brought a set of them, now I want them!! haha also allot of the sockets at supercrappo have a life time warrenty, except the elcheapo ones for 2 bucks haha. I have put a few through hell and never broke one yet. Not saying you cannot break them though lol
  12. back in teh day I had the passenger side resprayed on my vs Late model camira due to someone side swiping it (yes yes a commodore) anyway (still have it too), the front guard was teh onypice not scratched/f*cked, was gonna cost to much to repair through insurance so got a pay out and got a ex panel beater to do it cheaply. He said he does not like blending, he said he could do it but 9 times out of 10 unless the paints are exact you will still notice it over time. so he just resprayed the whole left (Rubens red) and I cannot tell any difference I never argued with him, only cost me 1200 and that was for 2 doors, redo rear guard fix the Bpiller and a few other sh*t and repaint....

    Break Failure!

is there a way to tell if your car has had the upgraded lines? if I remeber it was to do with the amout of colored rings on the line?
  14. Thanks, should have mentioned the pulleys are new metal ones, however teh tensionerassembly is the original (250 000k's) there seems to be very very minimul pay in teh compressor wheel....im talking a bees dick amout....has not changed in the 2 years of owning it. it only makes the noise if I back off quijly, if I back off slowly there the normal flutter. however it did do it once when changinggears (auto)...was taking off quick to 100kphand it changed gears and herd the screech......
  15. Hi.have had this for a while now. Cars a BA xr6 turbo sedan, factory, besides a cat back exhaust and a BF tyfoon cat. When I giive it a bit and back off the car used to have a nice flutter, but now it seems to be a belt screech type sound.... sometime it does have a flutter but other times there no flutter just teh screech which last for maybe half a second. I have checked for boost leaks, found none, im thinking the factory BOV?? my mate who has owned allot of turbos cars (sky lines, supras wrx etc) said it sounds like the front fan on the turbo loose but should that be there while boosting? as the turbo spools up perfect and no screeching, I do have a very loud groaning sound at idle but im almost certain its from power steering as its always been there. mayybe the belt is slipping? it has been on car for 20 000k's, or idle tensioner assembly? cheers
  16. yes that's correct
  17. sellers 4blok.............enough said....
  18. Did ba xr6t sedans come from factory with window tint? mine has tint not dark at all. is it in the actual glass or is it a film from factory? im wanting to get it a bit darker but not sure if it needs film removed or not cheers
  19. hi a mate of mine said I should use this oil in my BA xr6t sedan unmodified. 250 000k,s on it, it does have a full sythetic oil in it at the moment, but as some may know its on sale this weekend for $10 for a 5 liter bottle. thoughts?
  20. Well I have not got it fixed as of yet but will be verysoon, I too thorght it would cost a fair price but went to 2 trimmer, one said um yeah we can fix it.....other one fixes them all the time, also main place for the local bus company interior. he said yup, if I bring the seat in $110 new foam, reshaped, and re stictch a hole in side......cant belive how cheap they do it all for and he said about an hour or 2 work at most!
  21. can you get the comfort ones for a ba xr6t? the ones I got that said comfort were solid though. no voids. I do get the whinning sound at 80 under load. its annoying but glad its not gonna cause the diff to explode haha
  22. I priced a boosted for my ba xr6t sedan with traction control and it was $1300 non traction control ones were the $360.........I could not belive it
  23. I replaced my diff with a recoed one on my ba xr6t sedan, also at same time did 3 diff bushs with super pro. at 80ish kph if I lightly accelerate there a kinda whine from the rear end area (mite be center bearing) but if im accelerate quick to 100 theres no whine, only at that speed (80 kph lightly acccelerating) does it sound like diff? either way if it is diff it wont blow up haha I hope
  24. whe I removed it from my ba xr6t sedan stock tune, I had a bad miss fire, so put it back and its fine..........
