  3. If it was installed by him and supplied I would be getting him to fix it. Sounds like either electrical.....or internal. Is the oil correct level? Do u know if the box was working fine before installing it...mine had very similar problem and it was the clutch packs snaped or some sh*t
  4. If its as on enters the diff that's normal...well on mine it was....I replaced diff thinking it was a problem but the recoed diff is the same.... But nice and tight now lol
  5. I work nights and see cops driveig with them on all the time.... . Our our cars...ba to fg....are they driving lights or fog as fog lights should be yellow so ove herd ?? I have herd there once was an option for the to be driving lights...
  6. Thanks for all helpvsnd suggestions. The diff is nice ant tight. Has been recoed. The tail shaft however does need attention. The center bearing is almost split the whole was round and the CV joint to diff does have some play. One thing I have noticed is seems to have a very rough idle at lights recently so maybe a engin monunt has torn...or gearbox mount.......hopefully not a timeing problem.....could I check with forscan?? If its skipped?? Although seems too be idling at 700 rpm....normally 750 rpm
  7. Hi. Ba xr6t sedan 4speed auto. Last couple weeks I have noticed that when giving it a bit ( stock 6psi) and backing off ..if I back of quickly the whole car thups/jolts and sometimes its pretty dam bad. Feels like its comming from gearbox. The center bearing is split but surely that would be a thump not jolt/ thump/ whole car thumps which makes everything in car jolt including myself and passenger. Could be me but seems like it does it more when cars cold....now it has done it in past but seems to be doing it more often. So could gearbox do this? Cause if it can I'm suprised it didn't break anything
  8. Hi ba xr6t sedan. I have super pro Bush's on front control arms. I noticed the big 3pice bush end closest to the radiator support...if I leaver it up and down very gentaly the metal part of the arm moves up and down...like the bush inside the arm is split? I know that part is voided for comfort bit surely it shouldn't have that much play?
  9. Thanks would I need to flar the end of the pipe ?
  10. Hi does anyone have or know what I could use to replace the metal coolant pipe that goes from the turbo to across front of engine on a ba xr6 turbo...mine has sprung a leak in the metal pipeing Is there a lot similar to the oil lines you can get or does anyone have one they don't want....Ford want a stupid price for ot

  12. Anyone...it's going good now. Found out battery was only at 330cca supposed to be a 680cca so changed battery. Maybe that was causing it?

  15. Hi. Ba xr6 turbo with a turbo timer. Anyway today took car to shops....went fine then when turned car off and removed key the turbo timer counts down bit at same time the interior heater fan came on full speed... Only way to stop it was put hand break down which kills the turbo time when tuned car off completely. Hasn't done it since and start and stopped bout 4 times after. I have herd of could be water in thebthermo fans for radiator that can cause this as it sends a bad signal or something. Could it be ignition switch?
  16. I noticed with my after market shafs that its a tripod joint at the diff end not like the genuine one. So when I removed mine to swap diff I needed to leaver gentaly
  17. So they don't get lazy at all in high milage?
  18. That sounds like ignition coils...
  19. Thanks. So keep with a .9 mm gap? Would it affect fuel econamy etc? I also contacted autolite spark plugs...even though they have a spark plug number for the xr6t in there catalog....they too said not to use a copper plug haha
  20. Does a map sensor need changing like spark plugs do or a oxygen sensor does? What would symptoms be of it being sus?
  21. Can anyone tell me what copper plug I should use on a stock ba xe6t and gap size. I contacted ngk about having a copper plug. They sent back explaining that a copper plug is not suited for these engines as they were not designed to use one and that engine damage would occure. Also said they have seen the forums about using a copper plug and have no idea what plugs are being used as they don't make any..to suit in copper.lol
  22. Anyone tried the fuelmiser ignition coils? You all will say go genuine. but I want to know if anyone has tried them and how were they?
