  3. Just though I'd post a few pics of my bf f6 engine build. Was making 550rwhp with the stock engine put I had a fuel pump issue and ended in a melted piston. This is the rebuild so far.. I'm running 20thou over marhle pistons, atomic I beam rods, spool stud girdle, arp head and main studs, spool oil pump gears and a MLS head gasket
  4. Can anyone tell me- when running a spool main girdle do I need different arp main studs because I'm assembling my bottom end and my studs seem too short? Also then didn't come with a tightening torque!
  5. I have a process west surge with a single 044 and I have a 2nd one sitting here to go on. can anyone tell me if an after market bracket will fit into the single bracket holes? or will I have to get one through process? also whats the best option for a dual entry fuel rail?
  6. Ah righto. Just seen it on eBay. Mr turbo said he's doing a new turbo combo but it will be 6 weeks for the wheels but I wanted the new turbo on when I drop the engine back in :-p
  7. What do u guys think about A t04z on a hi mount manifold running a 50mm ext gate?

  10. Im wondering how much far people has pushed the stock manifold? Mr turbo has a good hi flow set up using the stock exhaust housing and bigger comp wheel with .7 cover for 1300. While my engine is getting built is it worth porting the manifold? I'm aiming for 500rwkw on e85
  11. I really can't decide if I should spend the extra on the 998 rods or just stick with the 698s!! Like always I'll prob get more power hungry later on

  13. Just spoke to atomic they say the 698+ girdle will be fine for a gtx42 setup. Looks like I'll be sending my engine off next week!
  14. The only difference I can see in the kits is the Rods and main girdle but I'll be running the girdle either way
  15. Iv just pulled the engine out of my bf typhoon to rebuild it (cracked piston) and a cant decide weather to get a atomic 998 phase 2 rebuild kit or just get an assembled 698 short motor! I'll be running the sik turbo for now to get my 10 then il be doing a 6 boost gtx42 set up later. Why is the max anyone has pushed a 698 to reliably?
  16. 20x8.5 Front (35 offset) 20x10 Rear (42 offset) with 295 lenzo dr1 will they fit my bf typhoon?
  17. Iv heard along the crape vine that u can run down to 10.5s at non andra events if u have a srs airbag. Can anyone clarify this?

  20. I only wanna run 500ish rwkw. Dave (blue boost) said it should not be a prob on e85 with a slightly bigger turbo setup
  21. Yeah I don't weather to keep pulling the out of te tap the 2 and put th back in?? I mite just have to run a bigger turbo on my stock manifold :-p
  22. I'm in the process of doing my rebuild on the bf f6 engine and iv come acress a bit of a problem. I was thinking about going a 6boost hi mount manifold but I took the first 2 bolts out of my stock manifold and it pulled the alloy thread with them! Has anyone else had this problem? Also with has people been paying for a 6boost manifold?
  23. Yeah I tryed to do a compression test but my tester was nOt long enough to reach down the hole so I'll have to make up a longer hose for it! I think I'll just do pistons and rods anyway as I wanted more power!!
  24. Well looks like I'll be doing a full rebuild! Just gotta pull the head of to confirm its not just a head gasket
