my car goes in for a tune and eboost fitted this week. I was woundering if I could start my car without the any boost control hooked up? I only need to reverse out of my awkward driveway and onto the road for the tow truck to pick it up??

Ok so when I bought my turbo the guy said when installing the turbo make sure the oil drain is 10 degrees off TDC and coolant feed from the bottom.. now if u ask me its logic that the oil drain should be at the bottom?? Also the vacume hoses from the boost solinoid. When I pulled off the turbo there was one vacume hose going into the compressor housing and the other going into the actuator. Ok so on my external wastegate I have 2 vacume nipples, where does the second one go? Im going to be running a twin gate setup so im assuming ill have to run a t-peice to each wastegate as well? A little help would be much appreciated xoxoxo

So basically the smaller the housing the quicker the spool but less power potential? I kinda want a bit of both street and strip I guess lol.. I spoke to 6boost regarding rear housings he said the 1.01 and 1.28 had no difference in lag but the 1.28 picked up 60rwhp up top

Just bought me a gtx 4294 for cheap as without a rear housing Just wondering what size housings ppl are using? 1.01? 1.26? Etc....

1150 for the set and yes I also use the atomic stage 4+ without fixed gears and and hi stall auto.. it all comes down to who tunes it and yess me and rip85 get our cars tuned at the same place in brisbane

I only did cams soley because of the sound and the fact I was doing my springs and its a matter of just swapping the cams over lol but u cant really complain about a 40rwkw gain on the same boost for the price of $1150

I picked up 40rwkw just from cams and springs and the sound is porn

Imo its not how many ks are on the car its how well the car has been maintained in the past

Yea brad warned that they definately need sprockets etc blah blah blah then I spoke to my tuner and he said he tuned plenty of fords with the 4+ cams without the requirements so I bit the bullet and trusted my tuner Im sure it would sound grumpier with fixed gears and a stall cause from my understanding he did what he could to get the car to idle and it idles perfect at 1000rpm Umm im computer illiterate lol how do u link?? Haha

Mate I put up a post reguarding cams not long ago.. I ended up putting in atomic stage 4+ cams in my bf without a high stall auto and fixed gears!! (Which they recommend using to run these cams) no other mods other than springs I gained 40rwkw on the same boost! And the sound is unreal!

Really ppl claim on here a 4294 on a high mount will get full boost at 3000rpm lol

From what ive gathered the only difference is the rear housing? Whick leads to another question whats a good size rear housing for minimal lag?

Mate I got the 1200hp one and simular power and don't have any lag problems

Basically going a gtx42 but dont know the difference between the two regarding lag, potential etc... any help would be appreciated

after being at powerplay today me thinks I should hang a 42 off the cun7 anyways

last tune was in august last year and the latest tune was done last week only things I did was atomic 4+ cams, springs and balancer,, port job was done well before the august tune
