  4. Sorry, didn't really mean to use such unkind words, must just be bad mood Monday But thanks, you have answered my question....I didn't realise there was so much re-work/re-code required to make those products work for our Falcons. Can you clarify what is currently available re: datalogging, and how it might fit in with this package? Will this support an analogue input so it can log data from a wbo2 controller? I would expect this is key to being able to make use of any Home Tuner package properly... Is there any reason not to expect to be able to modify all scalars, tables, and functions in this home tuner package? It would be great to be able to compare two different calibrations, or at least compare the current calibration to the stock calibration. That would help the user keep track of what they have changed. Would it be possible to attach notes/commentary to a calibration? It would make it easier for a user to remember what they where trying to achieve in different parts of the calibration. Cheers, Dave EDIT: Hmmm, looks like I have a different username on my work computer (black_xr8ute)? Apologies for any confusion...
  5. oh dear....
  6. Please tell me you guys are considering selling something like the SCT "Pro Racer" package in the states...? I would definitely be in the market for a full blown Advantage v3 software package, but of course locked down to my car's VIN. I.e. can't tune my mates cars with it like the dealer software. I'd want to be able share/modify tunes between myself and my tuner via email. I'd want to be able to datalog via Raptor or XCal 2. I'd like to not have to pay for a datalogger, and/or flash tuner (I.e. XCal 1) if I already own these products. I'd be happy to pay 1000-1200 for this sort of product, on top of the cost of a flash tuner and datalogger. I would expect a minimum of forum support like the Pro Racer forum @ www.sctflash.com. Phone support during business hours would be nice. How soon? Cheers, Dave
  7. Actually most of the series 2 XR8 utes ran the 185kw motor as well. I cant recall dates exactly, but the utes got the 200 and 220kw engines much later than the sedans did. I have an AU (series 1) XR8. Very much improved heads, inlet manifold, MAF, TB, and injectors over the E-series V8's. Cam, valve springs (orig are crap), exhaust, and tune are all you really need to make these things hammer. Supercharger kits are cheap too if you are real keen. If you are planning on keeping close to stock though, I'll think you'll find there is very little performance difference between the XR8 and XR6.
