Trying to keep it stock looking but will do the airbox cutout. Up next will be larger intercooler and exhaust. I am not after massive power gains, and keeping it reliable. Will be happy with sub 300rwkw.

I never heard of that before. So I take it they are more free flowing than a stock filter? I currently have a K&N panel filter, but there is much debate about whether they are any good and messing up with sensors with filter oil pick up. Also allowing larger particles into the engine for that added wear. You reckon replace it with the gas air filter then?

k31th. Yes that's my step 1 plan. Picked up a spare airbox yesterday to cut the front region out. I would like the typhoon front snorkel as well but they seem to be very rare now.

Time to finally do some mods to my stock as BA Turbo... I'm trying to find a typhoon or XR8 secondary air intake snorkel attached to the front of the air box. It appears they are no longer available from Ford. Does anyone know where these can be found nowadays?

My BA Turbo has now done 206k. Was sad when it clocked up 200k.
