From memory having door skins off in past, the wiring for that light has a connector. The connector pulls apart when you take door skin off. Check that connection is making contact properly.

Cheers Jake for the tip. Was very impressed with JCL's price and work, the work shop was spot on too. Got chatting with Joe for about an hour when I picked up the car, nice bloke. Got the flex plate installed and a service for the price of just installing flex plate at others. Thank mate!

So started to remove some of dip from my car as changing look. As I started removing the areas where the dip was thick was a dream to remove. I started to remove it from my rear diffuser, nightmare. As you can see in pic the rear diffuser on the G6E at the top has all the little individual square detailing. I remembered someone posted that WD40 is great a removing over spay as advised to NVT above. I have had success using it on over spay. So in an attempt to make life easier I spayed rear Diffuser with Silicon Spay (WD40) and let it soak. The WD40 seems to soften up the dip. I then hit with the high press wash down gun blasting it off nice and clean. It was looking like a real pain in the ass job but ended up being easy as with this method.

As an ex Ford tech he had seen a tone modded cars with the failed oil pump gears in for warrant claims. He couldn't understand while shops weren't advising customers of the potential failure. One guy had spent $25,000 on built motor and still had Std oil pump gears. The guy that owned that car was doing a burnout and lost oil pressure. The car ended up at this work shop and when it was pulled down he confirm std oil gear failure! Said he was gob smacked it didn't have billet gears. They looked though all the customers receipt from work done to confirm he hadn't been ripped off, but found nothing in all the invoices.

Any leads on best place for prices?

If your going to get gears done, is there anything else worth doing while they're at it?

Sound like it, but guessing only! I was only just having a in depth conversation about this with my mechanic an hour ago.

Just seen a classic. A car turning off Freeway North bound onto canning bridge towards Burswood. Did a 90 deg turn into bus station lane, smashing head on with a bus.

It's been doing my head in. Another interest rate cut, that made me made me feel good.
