  1. I have just noticed that Nizpro have posted some of the companies attending the workshop it will be interesting to see if these workshops end up getting fantastic results for their customers.
  2. Now its not just manual to autos that are faster. If you have a better auto or the same auto with a high stall this then changes the speed and mph as well, add to this different tyres a different driver and a different power curve even if the same peak number is the same and you should now have no problem understanding that quater times just dont prove how much power you have, they just prove if your car is set up better than the next guy
  3. The problem is Sav that your car is a manual so the times will be very slow compared to the same power with an auto.Nizpro's ute lost 0.9 of a second and 6 mph when they converted it from auto to manual so the whole take it to the track to prove the power out put is a some what flawed argument.
  4. I think you'll see 270 plus especially from a BF
  5. I know of two BF F6's manuals that made 250 rwkws on Nizpros dyno and yet BA F6's only make 215rwkw on the same dyno
  6. Adam I think you will find the shafts are close to horizontial when the car is at std height so when it squats the cvs start to work the lower the car the more angle.Lots of power and grip dont help
  7. Removing the bump stop or even cutting it down will make things worse as you now put the cv through more angle and the balls run out of track
  8. I spoke with dave from Nizpro last night its makes around the 418kw mark and as Its driven every day.The funny part is its gots the same power as when it ran 11.01 @ 131 mph with an auto so this would be the first time some one has done a direct comparasome in the same car and just swapped from auto to manual.Dave and simon were fairly disappointed with the time and also beleive 10s are a long way away with this car and cant think were the mph has gone,it was 12 mph slower at half track and yet picked up 32 mph from half track on wards.the auto only picked up 25 mph from half track. Dave said simon was leaving the line at 7000rpm and it was still bogging off the line.It has had enough grip to bend the diff housing which was off the last pass when simon feathered the clutch that then caused it to axle tramp
  9. Good one Jack you have done very well.I believe you should leave the tuning to the tuners, giving a good tuner guide lines on what AFR's to run seems a little strange to me as that's the reason your paying them ,for there expertise.
  10. So are you saying the valves are all the same too LPG,Turbo and N/A
  11. I think you getting a little heated. It appears that the colors change quite often and this would appear to confuse people about the springs. The guy who assembles engine at the Ford plant would simply be taking them out of a bin and installing them.Unless he tests the springs in a spring tester how would he know.Only by color. and as we keep getting told the color changes frequently.Secondly the cylinder heads when purchased from Ford are bare no valves or springs and seeing as all the heads are the same it would stand to reason that the part numbers are the same. The reason Ford sell them this way is so they can be made to fit LPG gas, N/A petrol, Turbo model's,and Typhoon. You see LPG engines run different inlet valve to all the others N/A just have std material valves,Turbo's have inconell exhaust valves and Typhoons have standard turbo valve but with different valve springs.Imagine all the exta stock Ford would have to have assembled if they had all these different heads in stock waiting, compared to just selling bare units. I'm afraid if Nizpro has tested them them he would be 99% correct.
  12. bf xr6t are not the same as typhoon that's another rumour they are the same as all other xr6t mk1 and mk2
  13. BF XR6T valve springs are the same as BA
  14. The quickest manual so far I believe is an blue BA F6 Typhoon it ran a 12.01 at calder a fair while back is is fitted with a stage two nizpro kit
