It is worth the drive to go somewhere outside of Bathurst, the other issue is time lol but I'm getting new cooler piping, injectors and fuel system out of my tax hopefully so was gonna leave the travelling till after that's all done

Yeah it's just everyone in Bathurst seems to be overpriced or down right retarded lol even our local 'tuner' isn't worth pissing on to be honest, bein a mechanic myself it's easy to pick up on issue with it but without scan/diagnostic tools it's a bit hard to track them down these days lol

Picked up my 05 ba mk2 xr6 turbo about a fortnight ago and got a sheet saying I had a form 4 warranty with it... Can anyone tell me what this actually covers? And do I HAVE to take it back there for warranty issues or can I take it somewhere local? I bought it in brookvale and live in Bathurst so it's a fair hike.

Hey all, I've searched through and can't seem to find my issue in any topics (there is a lot of misfire info but none the same)...
Here goes...
05 ba mk2 turbo 6 speed, no miss at idle, no miss warming up, drive to work then stop to let it cool down... Miss!!! It only does it at idle but it's enough to shake the car :/ any help would be great.

I actually bought the setup today lol got it all from auto one, I went with the saas 52mm gauges with the grey face, simply because you can change the back light to blue to match the dash and console lights... Got mechanical boost gauge and electronic oil pressure

Hey guys, I have recently bought a 05 ba mk2 and am wondering how much boost the stock/unmodified motor can handle? A mate has a 11 or 12psi actuator that he has off his race car that he isn't using but thought I'd check it out first.
Also do they have a separate over boost valve on the manifold somewhere as a back up? Probably not relevant but a vl I had a few years back had One and no one could tell me why it wouldn't boost more then 11psi lol (not comparing it to a vl... Just past experience)

Hey all, just wondering if an 05 ba mk2 xr6 turbo would have an alarm?
I have 3 keys, 1 x flip key, 2x normal keys with separate remotes.
The flip key locks and unlocks as normal but indicators don't flash, the same with one of the normal keys BUT the third key the indicators flash... It also has an extra button and the remote though with lock/unlock/boot release AND the little red horn button which the others don't have.
Any help would be great... Thanks
