  1. Hey all just looking for a little guidance. I have a 2006 bf xr6 turbo T56 manual with 100k on the clock, it's pretty stock at the moment but I am looking to mod it. However I am torn between modding what I have or selling and buying an FG. I can't decide between the two, I like them both looks wise, I care not for technology or anything like that. Anyone have an info that could sway me one way or the other?
  2. Hey guys My names Jack, joined the forum a few months ago but never really posted. Last night I picked up a BF XR6T 6 speed manual (July release). I've driven my mates which has an aftermarket intake and its response is significantly improved, so I'm looking at changing mine. I noticed the stock piping gets damn hot after a drive so I have been looking into the CAI that replace the battery (battery relocation to stock intake side). I also plan on modding it more over the years so I'm after something that will last and hold good power. What brand should I be looking at? I've only looked into the process west one which is nice but I want to check all my options before I buy. Also, I've only ever owned/driven manual (rarely drive auto) and In all manual cars I have driven, when using the gears to decelerate the fuel consumption drops to 0L/100km. I thought all cars should do this because if its rolling in gear the work is being done by the momentum of the car and not the engine. However, when I do it in my XR6T it sits anywhere between 2-6L/100km. Is it meant to be doing this? Cheers, Jack.
