Gee I didnt realise they were around for that price.. also forgot to search FPV instead of FORD haha.. dont know if I want to spend that much though.. its gonna be a daily driver so I dont think I could bring myself to tie that much up in one.. yeah its suprised me to see how cheap they are!.. but, like you said, to get something in the low 20 - 25k region youd have to settle for higher k's.. I think ill have just as much fun with the xr6t. Im planning on doing some mild mods to pep it up a bit anyways..

Sure, no argument there man. If it was a detectives car then that's a different story. I was thinking more along the lines of highway patrol cars vs. a maintained daily driver that's done the same milage. And they are cheaper! that's deffinately a plus.. hell yeah! that is perfect.. even got the ba rims I used to have on the eb haha.. im not ready to buy yet though, unless he wants to swap for a ute :-) ..

I thought id share it.. looks pretty neat and tidy and has a female owner also.. Id be happy to pay up to 17,500 for something like that if it was a 2007 - 08 model, that's pretty much what im looking for..

Gee thanks for all that info man. Yeah very true in regards to the owner's who look after them regarless of mods.. guess ill have a bit more of an open mind now when im looking.. They all look pretty nice, the leather is an awesome touch.. And yeah it always seems like I come accross the perfect example but then down the bottom of the page 'ex chaser' lol.. not keen on them either.. the fact that it has had its arse kicked for the first half of its life is a deffinite no no for me, and I bet they dont even run them in properly.. that's what im hoping to do haha.. just someone who is desperate as, knock 2000 of the asking price and snag a bargain haha.. thanks for the heads up about the gearbox., yeah im deffinatley sold on the BF and I think that ill end up getting a MK II when the right one pops up.. Thanks for the offer man, not quite ready yet though, just have to wait for my tax return to come through haha.. also im looking for something in white, black, ego, dark grey etc..

awesome, yeah that's right. The reason im worried about a modified one is cause I have this picture in my head of a 19yr old green P plater whos done all sorts to it and thrashed it haha.. but your right.. Thanks for all that info man Ive already got a ford ranger which is full comp, and I pay by the month.. shouldnt be too much of a big deal to get the insurance side of things sorted out.

sweet, Yeah I really like the bf 2's.. just want to get the latest possible model and km's under 90,000 for my budget.. sure, thanks for that info on the box service, that's what I need to know.. Yeah will do, well lets say 18,500 including on roads.. but also if the perfect one comes up for 19, im not going to say no..
  11. Hi guys, Just joined the forum. Used to be a member of Ford Forums when I owned an 93' EB XR6. Now im looking at getting an XR6T in a couple of months. Just got a few questions about what I should be looking for for a budget of around 18k. Ideally I would like to get a 2007 - 2008 BF MKII with under 90,000kms on the clock, and by the looks of it ill have to land myself a bargain to acheive that. Also want it pretty much stock and also auto. Wondering what the gearboxes are like in this model? and if over 100,000kms on the XR6T is a big deal? Of course I understand that the owner and how well he/she has looked after the car will play a part. But im also thinking that I might just wait till the end of the year and spend a little more on a newer model. Any thoughts or advice is appreciated. Cheers
